Zach Wilson will most likely be the starter til he falls on his face or gets injured. Any of the guys listed above, isn't stepping in for awhile, regardless, with no training camp or system familiarity.

I think that's the best thing for them to do. I joked last night about trading them Mariota, but bringing in a veteran to back up Wilson is their best case scenario. The weapons on that NYJ offense are the most he's had since they drafted him and he's in a prime position to build his stock back up.

All Wilson really has to do is be what Trent Dilfer was for the Ravens. Let the defense control the game. Wilson can then rely heavily on Breece Hall and Dalvin Cook while throwing to Garrett Wilson.

Wilson still has loads of potential and they need to know if he can be THE guy once and for all. Aaron Rodgers was a once in a lifetime deal. He's done. Wilson to Wilson could be a great combo for years to come if he comes even the slightest bit what they thought he could be when they drafted him.

McKee is the second best QB on our roster and looked very good in comparison to other QBs from this draft. What would you accept as a draft pick for him?

Elon Musk bought the board and we are rebranding after Week 9.

That doesn't seem great for Blankenship or Gainwell. If Reed can't play I'd just bite the bullet and start Sydney Brown on a short week. Evans and Edmunds combo seems too slow. Brown will probably be out of position a fair amount but has some legs to at least make up for it a little bit.

Rodgers isn't on the Eagles. If Rodgers who won back to back MVPs with him as the OC wants him then you get him. Period end of story.

Aaron Rodgers is in the top echelon of QBs to play the game and if he feels comfortable with him then you get him. This was ultimately, Rodgers offense who i bet was calling audibles to make adjustments anyhow

Easy to look back and now say we stuck with a Top 5 worst QB to play the game and an OC that isn't elite

What if I told you that I never thought this would work out for the Jets and that they were vastly overpaying for what they were going to get from him?  Can I laugh at them?

That's a lot of 'ribs'.  🤔.  What are the odds that 75% of the injuries would all be ribs?

For the perceived improved performance of the board, it was determined to separate the first half of the season from the second half of the season.

On this new server (2020) the thread start to get really laggy if they get too long. So the mods are trying to compartmentalized them more. We’ll have a new thread for week 10-18, then a new on for the playoffs, then new for predraft, etc

And now Rodgers isn't on the Jets either. So yeah the decision made sense with Rodgers there but had a huge potential downside with him gone. And this isn't just "hindsight is 20/20". Most likely Rodgers was only there for a year or 2 regardless of the injury so the risk of bringing in Hackett vs another OC was still something that needed to be considered.

Another player calling out the Metlife turf - even the newly replaced turf

And his point about the WC is most pertinent

I think it's a figure of speech about not just surrendering leadership but surrendering leadership to people meant to be controlled.  It's at the very least an antiquated view of best business practices. It's not as if players are not interested in the success of the NFL and teams.

Bingo. And given the racially charged context in which the comments were in response to, it's not exactly as harmless as some are making it out to be. Bottom line is it was a really dumb comment by an owner, in a public setting, that angered many of his own players. He had to have known they'd be angry over the comments and yet he said them anyway.

I don't think its an "NFL" thing.  I think it is a team by team, venue by venue thing.  I suppose the NFL could mandate grass, but in domes that won't work.  And we saw how good the turf was for the Super Bowl being grown outside then rolled inside.
