No pro bowl corner no mlb and no safety

hmm that’s a very very tall order

To be fair, it’s gonna be tough to stop any team with only eight guys on the field on defense.

40-17 Vikings

I take no pleasure in it, but I think they get rolled.

Whose clone are you? The only posts of yours I ever remember are you predicting Eagles blowout losses. STFU clone.

In other news... tonight should be a Kelly Green game.  Home Opener bringing it back, National TV audience, which might actually spur on a few more sales...  AND, guaranteed to take the fans to a fever pitch, even higher than just the first home game of the year.

Rocking my kelly green Kelce tonight at the Linc!

You don’t see that often.

The Vikings defensive front is nowhere near as talented as the Pats. Jalen will have more time to throw tonight and beat those Flores blitzes.

Yeah our tackles really played poorly

More than likely that means limited snaps and we'll see a bigger dose of Jalen Carter... which makes sense on multiple fronts.  Younger guys recover faster. Carter played fewer snaps Sunday, meaning he should be fresher... all things being equal.  And, Carter needs to be on the field more as a disrupter.  Cox showed he can still be that guy... from time to time.  Carter seems to be that guy all the time.   Let Cox be that guy every play he's out there by keeping him fresher.  Let Carter be that guy on more snaps by being out there for more.  Win - win.

Agreed.  It will be tough with only 8 guys on the field.

Vikings are gonna be on the power play the whole game.   That's tough to overcome.

Kelce documentary is really good. You will get a new appreciation for how much he sacrifices everyday.

I wanna see the oline play better tonight. Offense in general will have to be sharper.

I wouldn't mind seeing Nolan Smith at Lb for tonight as I think he can cover decently and could be sent on blitzes.

Lets go birds hoping for 2-0 tonight

As will a large portion of the crowd, I'd assume.  Eagles should have foreseen the interest in the color and made tonight the unveiling on the field for a game.  Seems like they dropped the ball on this one.

I agree. Home opener was the obvious play.

Haven't felt this bad about the outcome of a game heading into the game since the 2021 season. The spread has been dropping all week now to 6 points but still seems way too high.

Only chance we have is for the offense to wake up from its hibernation and just go off all game to give the defense the chance to kill a few drives with their pass rush before Kirk amd that passing offense eat up this secondary and linebackers.

The bookies started at 7.5 to hoover up dollars from all the overconfident vike fans and doom monger Eagles fans betting against, the movement reflects they were right about the size of that market, the line itself reflects the bookies belief about how close a game it will actually be.

I love this idea. Hell, I might love it full time.

That really is a hell of an idea, which means there is no chance they do it

I wish you weren't right...

But Maddox at S and Goodrich at SCB makes a ton of sense tonight. I'm not worried about Jobe (maybe delusional), and I'd be ok with Ricks seeing snaps. Maddox has the range to be a better deep safety to help over the top while Evans/Edmunds/Brown play closer to the line.

It does leave us with the question of who the nickel CB would be in that case.  Bradberry, supposedly, was working in there a bit.  That's not an option tonight.  So, who is next up?  Jobe is on the outside already... 🤷‍♂️

Goodrich. He'll be active tonight.

It'd be nice to see some creativity from the DC considering the options

Except that the only corner they really cross trained at nickel was Bradberry who is now out.

Goodrich is the backup slot.

Not sure I trust Maddox to hit anyone without getting hurt

I'll train at Nicole, if it's the right Nicole ....

Wasn't that one of the selling points we heard about him? That he adapts and would make adjustments.

My timeline is suggestion Nolan Smith at ILB. I'd be more on board with this idea if it wasn't a TNF game. That's a tough ask.

Your timeline suggestion? Are you in some alternate universe? Is this all a simulation? Am I even real?

Dropped the ball? They have Kelly Green lights and Kelly Green lasers to introduce Midnight Green and White! What are you talking about?
