I like Gainwell.  He’s part of the reason I felt we should move on from Sanders.  He’s good but not great at everything.  Some moves, not a soft runner, fluid as a receiver.  But he’s not really a make you miss explosive playmaker.  He’s a piece of a rotation, not someone who should get 14 or whatever it was touches while Swift gets 1.  That’s bad coaching.  

The edge guys didn't show up this season

They should’ve moved on from quez for the cap saving as he’s replaceable and frankly shouldn’t be a no. 3 wr.

Under…Hurts isn’t even making his first read well right now.  Quez is in no man’s land out there anytime he’s on the field.

Gonna be hard to score with the 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense in a 2 minute situation though.  This ain't the NCAA where the clock stops on a first down.

Agreed on all. We way overused Gainwell last week. It was absurd. I feel like Swift is gonna break one. He might have already if he didn’t get clearly tripped by Phillips.

We see it very differently. Teams are throwing different stuff at us this year. If you did not expect that, then you were fooling yourself.  
 

Long off-season of film review for all d-coordinators.  It’s going to take a little bit of time to see what they throw at us. Add in a new play caller.  It’s not going to be pretty from the get-go, but it will work itself out

BJ may still be figuring it out but Hurts is a massive concern so far. Again, overreaction - hope I’m wrong, all of that. Still. 50M requires a certain level of play regardless.

The question is does Penny get in on a play or a touch in the second half?  If not then do the Eagles just not like him or are trying to ice him until later in the season given his fragility?

Graham is old. Barnett sucks. Reddick was being called a bust FA signing at this point last year. He may just be a slow starter.
