I like Gainwell.  He’s part of the reason I felt we should move on from Sanders.  He’s good but not great at everything.  Some moves, not a soft runner, fluid as a receiver.  But he’s not really a make you miss explosive playmaker.  He’s a piece of a rotation, not someone who should get 14 or whatever it was touches while Swift gets 1.  That’s bad coaching.

I still believe some of this is because Swift and Penny have had injuries in the past. Not just one season but nearly every year they have been in the league. I think the Eagles know their schedule get much tougher midseason to the end of the season and when the playoffs begin they are gonna need them. So they’re trying to pace them and keep them as fresh and upright for the entirety of the season.

he played well last week too. Hes fine. And he didnt get moved inside. He pinched in there. He was lined up at DE on the play.

That helps us a little.

We aren’t making Cousins hold the ball long enough for our edge players to get home.

BJ may still be figuring it out but Hurts is a massive concern so far. Again, overreaction - hope I’m wrong, all of that. Still. 50M requires a certain level of play regardless.

This why the teams that compete are either teams with Patrick Mahomes or stacked teams with unexpectedly good qb play on smaller contracts.  No other non-retired QBs in the nfl have proven to not be a detriment to the team at 50m.

Second half should feature more Penny...  of course, it would be hard to feature less Penny.

Defense has been exceptional considering. Offense. A lot to be desired 90 minutes into the season.

Lucky the Vikes called a TO there…why they did, IDK but half the D was lost there, especially Goodrich.

Yeah, he became the guy in Madden who keeps running the same play over and over

If it works over and over, why stop?

Kind of a dumb post by BLG. The Patriots for the most part whipped us up front.

Yeah, the Minnesota Vikings finished in the bottom third in run defense last year in yards per carry and yards per game. New England is likely going to be a top 10 defense. Not that Swift shouldn’t have gotten more touches last week. He should have but it’s a much tougher opponent defensively with New England

He got around the edge but Jones got rid of the ball in under 3 seconds every play.

Even Brady didn't cost that much to his team 'officially', so that always benefitted him too.

2nd week of the season and they got 4 days of rest. They all have to still be sore as F from Sunday

Offense also seemed lost.

Nothing surprising here. Well, the only surprising thing is what's been discussed already. Why the hell did they feed Gainwell so much?

Not mentioned…Vikings D is Swiss cheese.  The Pats are at top D.

Nice defense trying not to cover anyone out there.

Too many coverage busts

What was that?

Did they forget that guy was on the field?

Hmm.... didn't the Vikings also play 4 days ago?
