I missed it. What did Brown do?

Swift's patience combined with his explosiveness combined with his tendency to only run sideways when necessary adds to our offensive line to make him a pain in the ass to stop.

I brought it up last year, but that's the reason why I wanted Sanders gone despite his statistically great season. He left yards on the field a lot by running sideways when he doesn't need to. Swift doesn't do that very often, he runs to daylight whether it's inside or outside.

I was with you on Sanders. He left a lot of meat on the bone. Swift had great vision tonight, which is something he struggled with in Detroit. Maybe the extra defender Hurts draws helps clear thing for him and makes his reads more easily defined. He was really impressive tonight. He was a bad holding call and a clear trip/leg whip from 200 yards tonight.

Welp, there are some positives. Both of our OL and DL were dominant. Swift looked swift, Penny did not. Score was closer than it should've been thanks to the refs.

Lots to be concerned about too though. Letting Cousins put up 360 yards with as good as our DL played was gross, Hurts was inconsistent, dumb play calls on both sides of the ball, not going for 2 late in the game, etc.

But we got two wins now with time to rest up for Tampa. Let's make it 3-0.

We had three backup defensive backs in the game who replaced three of our most reliable defensive backs, going up against a team with arguably the best WR in football. I think we should have expected it to be way, way worse. Feel like people forget Reed was injured too.

Threw a mini tantrum between the 3rd and 4th quarters on the sideline.  We immediately started to throw him the ball, rather than continuing to run, and the drive ended up stalling.

Next year's WR class is hella deep, and Howie has become an excellent drafter.

If AJ keeps this up, he's gonna get his a** shipped out

Swift is looking like a nice little steal. Hopefully the coaches see it that way.

Yeah, the Vikings run defense last year was bad. They might actually be worse this year. Which is an accomplishment because they finisher bottom third of the league in yards per game and yards per carry.

Just from the first live watch, it felt like the CBs spent more time getting beat tonight than the safeties or LBs.

Sad but true. Evans wasn’t great tonight but he even made a few plays.

Offensive staff if going to have to adjust to DCs making Hurts pick them apart so far we still want the deep ball too much.

He's meh

He looked better than hurts that's for sure.

Hurts somehow is just a winner, two ugly performances by him 2 weeks In a row but still wins.🤷‍♂️

Hope the coaches can figure out this zero blitz look defense, cuz until they do D coordinators will keep trotting it out until hurts shows he can consistently beat it.

I don’t get AJ doing that when he is paid

popped off (****ed)....Eagles changed the game plan for a drive to focus on Brown....he caught 2 TD passes that didn't count (1 was called back on a penalty, the other was a blatent PI no call

Edmonds was really bad tonight. Goodrich was awful. Jobe got beat for the long TD. Not sure what or who was at fault for that busted TD. I’ll assume it was him.

Morrow stabilized the LB corps, at least at first blush.

Goodrich still needs work.

But more importantly, not sure what happened to Morrow but I was surprised. He really played better than expected, especially for having the green dot on his helmet. Didn't think I'd say this, but if he keeps playing like he did, might be okay seeing more of him, or at least having him be Dean's primary backup.

Missed what aj did

In fairness, the drive didn’t stall because of Brown. If they didn’t call a holding on penny (pretty weak considering how many they missed tonight), he and the eagles get a touchdown. And then if they would’ve ran the ball on third down instead of trying to pass they would’ve at least got in the FG attempt. holding call is what really stalled that drive.

Need to figure out what to do when they rush 3 and drop 8.

I don't think AJ is the locker room problem type. I think he just really likes contributing and that causes problems sometimes, like when the offense looks really bad.

I think it'll be okay when the offense is better. But they were just refusing to play anywhere near good run defense all game. It was insane how many times they dropped 8 to stop the passing game. Lol.

On a pass play.  If they ran into that defensive call, it would be 2nd and 10.  Still in FG range.

Except that series where we got sacked twice and didn't get points. That almost bit us.

Eh, he threw two great passes before that. One was the hold on Penny and then the next probably should've been called DPI as well. Hurts didn't make the best decisions there but really we should've just ran the ball to keep us in FG range rather than trying to keep airing it out. Playcalling was just bad.
