If only the after show crew had the balls to ask Hurts about AJ acting like a spoiled child. Would like to see his response.

People must still have PTSD from TO or something.

AJ doesn’t strike me as any kind of cancer, just hyper competitive.

Looks like it starts at 0:58 but honestly doesn't seem as bad as I've seen players argue. Looks more like it's getting blown up more than it was

Swift is definitely the best back on the team.

We had three backup defensive backs in the game who replaced three of our most reliable defensive backs, going up against a team with arguably the best WR in football. I think we should have expected it to be way, way worse. Feel like people forget Reed was injured too.

Correct. Which means our depth in the secondary blows. Like really bad. Expecting we won't ever have injuries back there after this week is naive. These guys are gonna have to play again.

The next 4 weeks should be pretty easy.  They keep playing like this and they will drop 1-2 of those games.  But if they sort it out, it would be really nice to be 7-0 headed into the nasty teeth of the schedule.

Need to figure out what to do when they rush 3 and drop 8.

Call Swift and ask him if he wants an easy 200 yards because only rushing 3 against our offensive line is actual insanity. There's literally no way you're going to stop the run doing that.

Too bad it's not a while ago, would teach Jack Stoll how to play fullback and just run him as a lead blocker. LMAO

Probably more just pissed off the passing game has been so bad. They'll get there though. To get the passing game going like we want, gotta run the ball more. The Eagles last year used the run to set up the pass, they just forgot that it feels like. If people want to sit back and make us run it down their throats, we can. And it's not like they're stopping our sneak either.

I don't know.  He was the same guy unhappy through their first two playoff wins (blowouts) because he didn't get his big stats.

Edmonds was really bad tonight. Goodrich was awful. Jobe got beat for the long TD. Not sure what or who was at fault for that busted TD. I’ll assume it was him.

Morrow stabilized the LB corps, at least at first blush.

My biggest concern during the preseason and training camp was safety. Didn’t know if Reed could last all 17 games as a starter. He had a hope he could. Your other three safeties and Wallace aren’t good enough or weren’t ready. I think Brown is going to be fine in the upcoming years, but he’s a rookie. If you’re asking a rookie to start right away, you’re going to be in trouble. Evans shouldn’t be a starter. And edmunds imo is just a jag that was once a highly touted draft pick. They are gonna need to make a trade at the deadline to solidify the other safety position or they are gonna be relying on brown to make a jump into the role and hoping he figures it out in the toughest stretch of the year.

just Negadelphians trying to stir up drama with a big nothingburger

I thought Slay was good. He was super tight in coverage all night when he was matched up on Jefferson. Credit to Cousins he threaded the needle on multiple throws. Slay was a fingertip away from breaking several of those up. I thought Cunningham was better, Morrow was good actually. I thought the safeties were fine. Jobe I thought made some really good plays and missed a few. Goodrich was bad, but that’s expected. Sweat, Carter, Davis we’re a force. Reddick is really close on so many plays. Maybe the hand is just making him a tad short on his push. Hopefully that cast is off soon.

What happened to Jordan Davis? Did he ever come back in?

On a pass play.  If they ran into that defensive call, it would be 2nd and 10.  Still in FG range.

How do you know they don’t get a holding call on one of the offensive lineman if they ran? They had one by Dickerson in this game. the fact of the matter is no one would’ve been ****ing if they counted that touchdown and frankly it should’ve

I don't think that's a problem. I actually don't think they got beat because they lack skill, they got beat because they lack experience. Even the announcer called out one play, the touchdown, where Jobe just looked confused.

Keep in mind, both corner replacements are undrafted free agents, and both are second year players that last year were on the practice squad. They need some time.

Agreed, I thought Slay played Jefferson very well

Reddick was being held on multiple occassions, refs need to call a fair game

Splitting hairs here. It's a concern regardless of the reason. Will they get better in 2 or 3 years? Probably. But I'd like to get another ring this year, and right now, they're looking like a pretty big liability should they need to play again.

Run the offense thru Swift he too damn good

Swift has 133 yards before contact.

Feels like the team is growing in the right direction. Not peaking early obviously.  A lot of flaws on D are personnel because of injuries

I’m dumbfounded by our third down play calling, our reaction to seeing blitzes and three-man rushes, and why the hell we never went for 2 tonight.
