I suspect we’ll be adding Josiah Scott or Bryce Callahan to the PS soon.

Hopefully, he can make a recovery. I think he's not given the credit he deserves as a player on here.  He's been a solid player.

I love Maddox. He was making great plays before his injury. Not sure, but I think a torn pectoral muscle is a season killer.

Marshawn Lynch is a national treasure

With all the complaints about the back 7. With Dean, Morrow, Cunningham and Evans. In due time, actually think we have upgraded there from last season as far as depth. At safety, Evans is decent depthas 3rd safety and better than Wallace. So Brown's emergence by end of year will hopefully be an upgrade over Epps. This defense with a good running game like last night will be plenty fine. Won't be perfect, but neither was the Chief's last year. Feeling great at 2-0 today! They will figure this out and how to beat this blueprint teams have tried to create. Ultimately,  Eagles will take what is given to them and not force the issue. Too much talent here. Remember Mahomes having to adjust in the same way and not just count on the explosive plays to Hill. Need to be patient, just like from the 2nd quarter on and they are dominant against most teams.

Reed Blankenship was the 3rd safety last season.  This team misses CJGJ.

For those who got to watch closely, how did Jobe look overall? Does it make sense to have him, Slay and Bradberry on the field together with Bradberry in the slot?

Probably could have had 2 INTs if was paying attention.

He will get reemed today for his crap tackling on the Addison TD

Long term, I like Brown and Blankenship better than CJG and Epps. And they cost 1/5th the price.

People aren't laughing enough at the Vikings guy jumping on a clear play they were running out the clock

I hope not for him and the team.

CJGJ was like Malcolm Jenkins in terms of his ability to move around.  I don't think they have someone like that now.  Goodrich looked slow and lost on most plays to me.

I was laughing my ass off.

Sure, I was far from sober at that point but I was laughing my ass off.

Davis is one of the big reasons why the Vikes couldn't run the ball.

Davis played 17 snaps. Less than a third of the snaps.  All the DEs had a role in stopping their running game, which isn’t very good, but the Eagles did a good job setting the edge and Morrow, Cunningham and to a degree, Edmunds in the box and before he went out Maddox all helped shut down their running game.  I thought it was a mistake to sign Cox back but his play the last two weeks has been very good.  Carter is as advertised.

I mean yes but he's a good player when he's on the field. I wish he wasn't as susceptible to injury.

DeVonta will ultimately be the WR they keep and AJ traded in a couple years.

Hopefully Smitty lets AJ play call of duty with him this week and all will be right with the world.

This was often mentioned. Maddox is made out of glass. Probably played his last game as an Eagle. Kinda tired of the injuries. Looking forward to seeing some of the youth play with the so called depth here. They need reps. Got a lot of vets to learn from as well.

Jordan Davis is good.

I figured no one would pick up that scrub.

@just relax @Iggles_Phan Fold that into an Eagles discussion.

I think the part of Swift’s game that I enjoyed the most last night was how patient he was in letting the gaps develop. Reminded me of watching prime Le’Veon Bell where he lets the blocking develop then goes. He had some Shady like cuts last night too. Puts one foot in the ground and the defender is on skates. Very intelligent runner.

It’s a shame sweat didn’t get there one second sooner

They will keep both WRs as long as they're productive. It's a position they value very highly now compared to the Reid days and one of the reasons they so devalue safety and LB. Because they go very heavy at other positions cap-wise.
