The route he threw to was the clear route…AJ was pretty much wide open for a TD behind it.

This is not correct.

I don't think you know what a clear out is, bud.

Their isn't a more miserable person on the radio than small Jon Marks.

T.O.’s hyperbaric chamber?

When Willis McGahee jacked up his knee in 2012, he used one.  I know this because somehow I got roped into helping his cousin move the thing into our building and up to his floor

Sullivan specifically says it really wouldn't have mattered. I think you misunderstood the comment. Hurts made a bad read there, should've tossed it up to Brown, if anything.

Didn't misunderstand the comment. He credited the DB at the LOS for getting depth on the play. But he also noted that the clear out route was improperly run, essentially resulting in double coverage where it really should have been one on one.

Yes, it was a poor throw. Yes, he should have gone to the check down or run the ball. But it is ridiculous not to recognize that a lazy route had an impact on the play.

Yup, me and JT O'Sullivan are the ones who are confused, not you.

Some Viking fans DM'ed him calling him the N word and other stuff because he fumbled the ball and they lost. Mattison put it all out there on his Instagram.

And people here are called bullies. That's on a whole other level.

He did not say this. You're editorializing. He clearly says it wouldn't have mattered.

Listen to it again, this is what he says: "AJ Brown probably isn't running as hard as he could either, not that it would really help here, just something that jumps off the screen. Nice play from #25."

Huh? I wasn't responding to you there. I was pointing out to Wentz_Era that Brown was the clear-out not Smitty. Are you saying you think Smitty is the clear-out on this play?

Sorry, i thought you were the one saying brown wasn't the clear out.

My thoughts exactly. It's not an "automatic" play. It's just an automatic play with our run blocking and Jalen's thicc thighs.

No team has found a way to stop this play yet.  It is a simple idea and most teams have something similar to push the carrier forward for extra yard.  Yet they cannot do it like the Eagles with a high percentage of success.

Replace the term "stem cells" with "hallucinogenic toad venom" and that's pretty much my guess too.

Now consider this... if Dolphin mating sounds are healing... think about how much more effective Humpback whale mating sounds would be.  They are so much bigger, way more powerful healing feng shui.

I think he probably wasn't all that bright to begin with, which means all those hits to the head over a career of playing football weren't something he could afford to take.

I just watched the Kelce documentary. It was really well done. My take from it? As much as it sucks for us fans that the Eagles lost the Super Bowl, I feel the worst for Jason. He deserved to get that second ring and go out on top. What that guy goes through on a weekly basis to get ready for games is insane. He gets this city like no other athlete that I can think of. Let's hope he gets another chance this year.

Maybe they didn't have anymore helmets in his size? Dude wasn't even here long enough to get fitted for jersey.

Forgive me if I don't exactly trust the Eagles roster evals right now. Morrow got cut and put on the PS but looked good(and actually has a track record in this league recently of playing pretty well). Swift of course shines, when everyone and their mother knows he's far more talented than Gainwell. They continue to give Barnett snaps over Nolan Smith which is idiotic. And of course last night he gets burned on a TD because he sucks. They continue to shove Covey and Siposs down our throats.

The Eagles are a well run organization that are slow to take the L on their pet players. And if they like Gainwell more than Penny... whatever. I think it's dumb but whatever. I think they legitimately think Boston Scott is a better RB than Penny and not just got special teams value. Case in point: Penny didn't get touches yesterday until Scott went out with a concussion. To think Scott is better than Penny is an absurdity. Just laughable.

What the hell was he thinking on that INT??? Yeah, Brown should have run harder, but Hurts decided where he was going before the snap, looked at it the entire way, and even though he had to see 25 there he threw it anyway. Bad decisions happen, but he wasn't looking anywhere else.

He was doing pre-snap signals all game if you haven't noticed.
