The documentary was awesome. I felt awful for him to not win another SB so he could go out on top. As much as i wanted them to win i felt worse for him watching that and hearing him talk. His speech the night before the game would’ve had me running through a brick wall. I love that guy

I don’t think Baker is realistic. They didn’t pay 6.5m for CGJ I don’t think they’re paying what is it like 13m this year for Baker?

And if they did, that BS rationale of "They had to let CGJ go after they signed Bradberry because they couldn’t afford both” would be rendered complete and total fake news.

Yeah it’s not happening. But I’d love to have him. He’s a great leader in the locker room and he can play safety but also some slot and even some Lb. But the cost to get him and contract is too much.

Barnett had like 12 snaps.  Smith is undersized as a full time DE but in the 12 snap Barnett role he would be fine. 

The racist remarks towards Mattison were 100% uncalled for but the Vikings response was a word salad of buzz words and IMO, their statement should have included that it was their own fans. Unless you do some digging to find out what was said, I'd assume 99% of the people who read this are going to automatically assume that because it was an away game in Philly that Philly fans are racist and treated him poorly during or after the game. 

Vikings, if you truly want to do what your long statement says, call out the individual as a Vikings fan.

 

I didn’t see myself saying this two weeks into the season, but Greg Ward might be the best option at WR3 for this offense assuming they don’t trade for anyone else. They need someone with a pulse in that slot and it’s felt like the missing piece to this offense for a few years now.

The Eagles are very fortunate to have a schedule that should allow them to be no worse than 6–2 before the trade deadline.  It allows them to learn and fix what teams are now throwing at them (which is a process), and also learn what they may need to acquire.  
 

The Cardinals will certainly be a team that I believe will have players for sale.  I think they’ve already shown their cards on that (no pun intended). There may be also a couple other teams, maybe even a couple that we don’t expect, that will do the same.

If the defense could put the game away, how did the other teams nearly catch up? I think in both cases, the offense had to score more than the cited points to win. The offense put the game away last night with their final scoring drive. What am I missing?

The chick who voice acted Ada Wong on Resident Evil 4 Remake was bullied and threatened off the internet because they didn't think she lived up to the original voice actor.

Travierre Thomas (HOU) is probably the nexus of a good/cheap slot corner who might be available via trade by October.

The issue with Budda Baker is he wants a new contract. He’s in his prime at 27 and likely is for the next 6-7 years. The fact that they drafted brown makes me think they’re not gonna do it. Before the draft i thought he was a guy since he had a bunch of versatility and leadership qualities and all pro. But They like reed and they like brown. They’re cheap and long-term I think they believe they’re going to be a good starting  tandem. If you trade for Buddha Baker, one of those guys is going to have to be a backup for the foreseeable future. Now if the price was right, and you got him on a good contract, I would still do that trade. There’s not many Budda Baker’s out there. That said, I don’t see the Eagles doing it because I think the price to acquire him is going to be too high and the new contract.

If Hurts is going to continue playing like 2021 Hurts then there's no need.

Seems like he's way too anxious to scramble and leave the pocket.  He doesn't need to be Superman.  This team has more than enough weapons where he can dump the ball off and let the playmakers do their thing. 

I really think and hope something will eventually click with them but it's going to take several weeks.

Yup when I first read the headline I just assumed it was eagles fans but as I read more I realized it was Vikings fans.

If I had just read the headline I never would have known, poor reporting and statement

I mentioned earlier today that at the deadline if they can’t get a linebacker or safety that’s an improvement that they should go after a slot/3rd receiver. I didn’t love quez coming into the year. They could use one that is also a returner. I haven’t looked to see who could be available but I’m guessing there’s probably at least a team that’s going to be out of it that is willing to unload a receiver
