From 1990-2000?  Griffey drove in more runs than Bonds did through those years.  Bonds scored about 1,200 runs while Griffey scored around 1,100.  Griffey hit for at least as much power and average, and defensively — where Griffey was an all-timer as a center fielder, Bonds was a little more than a scrub playing left field.

Clean?  Griffey was the superior all-around player.  Steroid freak Bonds years?  A disgrace to baseball and not worthy of analysis

It's 1:30 in the morning and for some reason I'm taking some time to check the data.

Assuming you meant 1990 through 2000 inclusive (which is eleven years), Bonds hit home runs more frequently (one per 13.10 at bats compared to 13.98 for Griffey). Yes Griffey hit more total (422 vs 410) but had about 500 more at bats to so do because he didn't walk as much.

Bonds hit for a higher average (.302 to .299).

Bonds hit for a higher slugging percentage (.640 to .614)

On base percentage is tricky to calculate (not going to do it at this hour) but obviously Bonds would be higher since his BA is higher and everyone knows he walked a ton more.

Griffey had more RBIs (1209 to 1182) but again, there's the 500 more at bats.

So basically Bonds outperformed Griffey in every statistic per at bat. (More doubles and triples per at bat too.) He also stole more than twice as many bases.

Yeah, you can make the argument -- as you did -- that Griffey's defense was superior (although to classify Bonds as little more than a scrub is kind of ridiculous), but your assertion that he hit for more average and power simply does not hold up to scrutiny.

Terrible to see Colorado losing right now.  The best thing that could happen to NCAA Football is for Prime to go undefeated and win the national championship this year with Colorado.

Wouldn't happen.  Colorado would get destroyed by Georgia, Michigan, Ohio St.  USC will probably destroy them.

6-7 wins would be a successful season for Colorado.   Then if he can get some good recruiting classes in the next 2-3 years maybe he can get them in the national championship picture.  However, his son's and Hunter will both be gone by then.

What a f'in game!

That’s why i would’ve went for it. As an underdog take the chance to win it rather then letting the buffaloes have a chance.

Chance to win > 30 yards of field position.

Always

Especially when you are the underdog and no one expected you to be there. Go for the win.

They have the skill players. Where they’re really lacking is Oline and Dline. With the transfer portal now though, it may not take 2-3 years. Huge throw by Shadeur.

Colorado state might lose this in regulation if they don’t get this first down.

I believe.

Have no clue what brown is doing. Go upfield and try to get the first. Then when you aren’t getting it stay in bounce so the clock runs or Colorado uses their last timeout.

The college football playoff?

They have to beat Oregon, USC and UCLA.  Little different test than beating TCU, Nebraska and possibly Colorado St.

They're dirty as hell lol

They play Oregon, ucla, Wazzu and utah on the road. All ranked. They aren’t winning all 4 of those games. And then beating usc and Oregon state also ranked at home.

I'm too drunk to be up this late watching Colorado football 🤣

I don't even think Deion believes they will make the college football playoffs 😄😄😄

If the rams score they should go for two

Colorado St. self-inflicted wounds here
