Fun game. I can't see a world in which they don't get rolled by Oregon but we'll see.

The college football playoff?

They have to beat Oregon, USC and UCLA.  Little different test than beating TCU, Nebraska and possibly Colorado St.

I believe.

Them Colorado college vixens putting out tonight...

Sure 👌

Heck of a game , Colorado state won me a cpl hundred  . Colorado will be a contender after prime gets a cpl classes under his belt , they’re not there yet

Man, as a DL, you dream of hits like this. I know rules have changed but I'm still not seeing this one, especially to call it obvious and then read reactions to it.

I think it's the driving into the ground with his body on top.  That's illegal in the NFL now, not sure if NCAA banned that yet or not.

It feels good to wake up to 2-0.  We can just sit back and watch today.

Agreed, we have a mini 11 day bye, yes...we haven't been as crisp as one would like but the amount of negativity is downright surprising.  2 new coordinators, a ton of injuries, turnover before that with free agency......I'm actually happy with where they are.  It isn't how you are playing in September but how you are playing the end of the year.  That being said, you need these early victories to keep the chance at home field and the top seed alive.  I still think even in a perfect world, that was going to be a challenge to secure this year based upon the schedule along with Dallas and San Francisco being very good.  Enjoy the stress free day and go Jets!!

How about Cam Jurgens?  Looking very solid through 2 games.

Remember all the talk about Steen beating him out for RG?

Good times.

That never even seemed like an actual competition in the end.  Will be interesting to see if Steen turns into anything. He hasn't passed Driscoll on the depth chart yet which isn't a great sign tho certainly not conclusive in any way

When Avonte goes on IR it'll be interesting to see if they bring in a vet slot like Logan Ryan or simply give Siposs a spot. Siposs & Covey have one more week.  I can see them deciding not to give Covey a spot but at some point you need a punter.  They could play the PS game for another 3 weeks with a different punter but I doubt it

Cam has not been great, but he's been rock solid. Honestly? That's great for a 2nd year starter 2 games into his career.
He's clearly going to be a better C than RG (likely next year).

Kelce/Jurgens' lack of size did show up vs. New England. Most teams' DL are not as big as the Patriots though. When we play Vita Vea, Dexter Lawrence/Leonard Williams, etc. it'll show up more. On the plus side, we may matchup a bit better with Dallas.

Some positive on the season: I’m so happy we beat NE because I believe with the Bills issues, Rodgers injury, and BOB fix that NE is gonna be a 10+ win team. Their D was stout

Dallas fans are calling that an easy win in a few weeks, I think(hope) they’re very wrong

NE wants to run the ball, unless Hankins/Mazi materially improves the DAL defense in that respect that could be a problem for them. No cake walk given what the Pats have on D.

As I said to my Bears=fan brother-in-law ... Welcome to today’s NFL.  The fear of injuries has so taken over the League that all the Eagles starters had exactly zero live snaps in the three Preseason games.  So the games we are seeing now in Weeks 1-4 are the equivalent of the Preseason games of the past.  With both Coordinators being new, that means further disruption.  In addition, the success of the RPO plays, especially with the threat (and success) of Hurts running, caused both Belichick for the Pats and Flores for the Vikings to develop specific schemes to counteract that threat.  What we saw in both games was the DEs completely committing to taking away the Hurts running option rather than worrying about either the RB running or the Hurts passing option. As a result Hurts had nowhere to run. Interestingly and perhaps unexpectedly, that commitment by the DE taking away Hurts' run option also meant Hurts had much less time to pass on RPO plays because the DE was right on top of him. It took some time for Johnson, the new Offensive Coordinator to make adjustments.  He started out with the confidence that they could still do the same things with the same success as that had done last year, but in time he realized that his Week One opponent was one of the greatest all time defensive minds in the history of the game … and his Week Two opponent was not slouch either.

Definitely not conclusive.  He is getting lots of reps in the weekly practices with the rest of the backups as O-Line2 playing against the D-Line starters.  That is what Jurgens did last season, and look where that has brought him.

For sure we've seen many guys develop. That's the typical path.  Just saying we've also seen guys flash more early. Jurgens did last preseason but he was also a higher pick. Ideally there would be a point this year they feel he's better than Driscoll.  That's not a huge bar

If there's one position this team knows how to develop its OL. They probably learned from their experience throwing Seumalo out there a bit too early. Things didn't really click for him until 2.5 years in. He really struggled before that and he was also a 3rd rounder.

Driscoll can play multiple positions, and they probably don't want to ask Steen to play multiple positions his first year. Yes, I know we got to see some of that from Steen in pre-season, but I doubt they want to put that much on his plate over his first year.

I don't anticipate Steen to be inactive the entire year, but once injuries start to happen (hopefully not), it will be interesting to see how they shuffle the line. That will tell us a lot more.

Publicly ranking your kids in terms of how much you love them is wild
