I saw Johnson in a press conference wearing a green Eagles hat that loos like the Phillies P with the Eagles logo at the top. Does anyone know where they sell them?

Sundays without the Eagles sucks........

At least there is still baseball to watch.

One of the most disgusting posts I've read here.  I dry heave gagged.

A lot of really interesting games this week.  The league is very much in flux with figuring out who the competitive teams will be this year and who the bad teams will be.  And you have a lot of perceived good vs good and bad vs bad matchups this week.  Get a much better picture at the pecking order of the league after this week's games.

Just the idea of watching something so boring like baseball instead of NFL football is so off-putting to me.

I believe.

Lol, stop it.  They couldn't even stop Colorado State from getting pressure on the qb.  If they win more than 3 games the rest of the season, they should consider it a good year.

Relevant to us next week (especially Carlton Davis).

Very interesting to see Kancey as one of the inactives.

Hurt

CJCJ hit with a BS penalty after making a great play in the backfield for a big loss in the redzone.

So many penalties in every game.

He got hurt in pre-season and vs. the Vikings.

Miss you, Rasul....

Very sad when Falcons have lbs and we don’t

Man the Cardinals are gonna get a real pick from the Texans, they stink. Could have the top 2 picks in the draft

I wonder how much the chiefs have to pay to have the refs on their side every single week

The amount of teams that can't convert on 4th and 1 is staggering. What we have with Hurts is suuuuch an advantage.

As I said to my Bears=fan brother-in-law ... Welcome to today’s NFL.  The fear of injuries has so taken over the League that all the Eagles starters had exactly zero live snaps in the three Preseason games.  So the games we are seeing now in Weeks 1-4 are the equivalent of the Preseason games of the past.  With both Coordinators being new, that means further disruption.  In addition, the success of the RPO plays, especially with the threat (and success) of Hurts running, caused both Belichick for the Pats and Flores for the Vikings to develop specific schemes to counteract that threat.  What we saw in both games was the DEs completely committing to taking away the Hurts running option rather than worrying about either the RB running or the Hurts passing option. As a result Hurts had nowhere to run. Interestingly and perhaps unexpectedly, that commitment by the DE taking away Hurts' run option also meant Hurts had much less time to pass on RPO plays because the DE was right on top of him. It took some time for Johnson, the new Offensive Coordinator to make adjustments.  He started out with the confidence that they could still do the same things with the same success as that had done last year, but in time he realized that his Week One opponent was one of the greatest all time defensive minds in the history of the game … and his Week Two opponent was not slouch either.

The bolded... no, no and no.  What's the difference with the preseason games versus weeks 1-4?    Preseason games don't matter, no matter what the Baltimore Ravens would have you believe.   These games actually matter.  So, using these games to 'get right' is a way to put yourself into a potential hole that you then have to dig out of.  Fortunately, the Eagles didn't match up against very good teams to start the year... same as last year.  But, if they had a schedule with a tougher opponent at the start, we might be looking at a very different record than 2-0.  0-2 is absolutely a possibility.  And while teams have been able to weather that sort of start, it is far from the ideal.

Eagles not the only legit offense struggling.

Wild is one word for it.  Not the word I'd choose.

It’s nice to be "struggling” while still scoring 30+.

I don’t disagree with anything you have said, but that doesn’t change the reality of the bolded statement when comparing today’s games 1-4 of the regular season with the Preseason games of 20 years ago.

We should beat the Bucs. Would be a major fumble if we don't
