Ugh, the matchups for week 3 are not good. Just nothing interesting.

Some solid matchups

eagles vs. Bucs both are 2-0

lions vs. falcons is intriguing.

Bills vs. commanders could be an interesting game depending on which Washington defense shows up

Super Bowl from two years ago rematch between bengals and rams.

Positive cardinals ownership called down to Gannon after they got up 28-7 and said "lose we want Caleb Williams and if we don’t you are fired”

Chargers should’ve fired him last year. Squandering a talented roster and his defense which is his speciality has been as bad as when he got there but they’ve added more talent.

The voice in the Titans video sounds familiar ;)

Craziest Sunday games in the last 30 years

Didn't realize this but Jordan Davis only played 17 snaps on Thursday? He's playing great but dude needs to be on the field more than that. I know he got dinged at the end of the game but still seems like an incredibly low number.

It was also 4 days after the first game.  The NFL has to do better with the schedule.  TNF needs special rules.  For example, a bye before it for both teams.

Well Gannon's Defense Collapse in the 2nd half and the GMen found life.  Washington kept plugging away and exposed the Broncos Defense in the process.  Russell actually played much better in this game than previously.  Zach Wilson is who we thought he was but the Jets O-Line isn't that good so the Boys took care of business.   Overall it's still early but every game is important.  The NFC East is now 7-1 on the Season with the only loss being in Division.  The Bucs are also 2-0 so it will be a battle on Monday Night.  Here are all the undefeated teams left:

Birds

Dolphins

Bucs

Boys

Commanders

Falcons

49ers

Ravens

NFC - 6 (2-0)

AFC- 2 (2-0)

Five different 'bird' teams.  Weird that we consider our bird to be the only true bird.

Falcons, Seahawks, Cardinals, Ravens... and of course, Eagles.

Dirty birds, Seachickens, Red birds, Black birds... and the Birds!

Go Birds!

I sit here this morning looking at the schedule. We have sort of an identity crisis with our new OC. We haven't played that well in our first two but are 2-0 (Probably should have gotten some preseason snaps, especially with a new play caller). Looking at our next 4 games we are probably coming out 5-1 at the worst, possibly 6-0. So we have time to blow off the rust. Imagine how we will be when we get it together.

Going in to this Tampa game, I'm kind of expecting a lot of what we've been seeing so far from the Eagles.

Baker is just the type of QB that we should have success against. Not super accurate or smart, and doesn't get rid of the ball quickly. I imagine the defense has a pretty good day.

On offense, I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see our problems going away this week.

Bowles is too good. Going against his scheme when we're already not playing great doesn't seem like a "get right" week to me.

Thinking we probably win, but would not be one bit shocked if we didn't.

Be interesting to see who the Jets bring in to replace Wilson.  You can spend time around greatness, but it won't make you great and Zach Wilson is proof of it

All those people acting like the few weeks of "mentoring" were going to make Wilson into a new QB are idiots. Maybe 3 or 4 years minimum.

Who would they bring in to help with that awful OL?

6-0 is very possible (8-1 by the bye week). I expect this team to continue to improve week by week. The OC stumbled upon the 'identity' this past weekend with the run game. Hopefully he gets it now :) Seems like every year there's this self-inflicted crisis where the OCs forget the Eagles are a run dominant team. Not sure if it's by design to work on stuff in the pass game or what but typically by mid-season and hopefully without too damage they wise up and lean on the run game before opening things up downfield.

He can do a cute side arm throw, but still makes the same mistakes as before.

They'd have to trade for someone to get a player that can materially help.  QB is an easier find with someone like Wentz out there; flaws. but has at least done it to a reasonable level

Everyone is making the great QBs pick them apart and try to beat them down the field. I would hope by Week 3 we see that adjustment. I know Stoutland will have the run game coordinator.

More Goedert seam routes to make the zone work would be a nice counter that hasn't been utilized yet.

Wentz would get crushed behind that OL. I was pretty much saying they have no hope lol.

I honestly thought the Bucs would be 0-2 heading into eagles game , super young team , 14 rookies , and a new offense

that said eagles should take the W

They do. I suspect the OL would look better with a better QB out there.

Playing that Cover 2, best way to beat it is to run the ball down their throats....as long as the Eagles are patient, and they don't try to overcomplicate things, they should be more than fine.

That has been my biggest gripe, why do the keep using Goedert on screens and on the sidelines....use him down the middle of the field!!

I really thought they would sign Wentz. I guess he has become way to toxic to even be a backup. Maybe Foles? Although outside of Philly he really hasn't had a very good career.

Gannon did not gut them.

Arizona went in to halftime remembering they are supposed to tank so they had to lower their game even further so doofus could beat them.

Side note: what happened to Barkley is why players HATE the franchise tag.
