The OL in Cincinnati is still bad.  They aren't exactly helping Burrow very much.  Gotta protect your assets.   I mean, if you had a Lamborghini, are you going to park it in the garage, or are you going to park it on the street?   It seem the Bengals would park it in a dark parking lot across town.

Yup. I feel like the bengals tried in the 2022 offseason to make it somewhat better and it failed. They drafted burrow 4 years ago and it’s still not good.

For me if I had a Lambo it means that I have a ish load of 'I don't care' money. Like billions of it. I'd park it wherever I would put a bike at that point :)

Apologies if posted already.  Great coaching.

No need to worry about Clay ever coming up with that.

Cardinals will have a fire sale when they're 0-8. They're really about to be 0-8. Their schedule is brutal going forward. I don't see a W.

We don't need Budda Baker, as much as we need better than Edmunds/Evans. Similarly, we don't need Fred Warner as much as we need someone better than Cunningham.
I'd love all-pros too, but average goes a long way too.

So the Eagles just bought themselves 3 more weeks of a roster spot with Mann on the PS.

What's the rule for PS callups on a guy who has been cut from it? If Sippos is gone for 3 weeks, do his 2 callups still count or could he start fresh if they brought him back to the PS? Are the Eagles using the system to their advantage?

On that long touch down was it Edmunds that was out of position? I thought I remembered him creeping up and then we got toasted.

Like to see Howie take a similiar approach to slot CB that he has to taken to defensive tackle and linebacker in last year. Sign 2 vet slot CB's and see which one sticks. Goodrich can be put back on practice squad. Evans may be the one who moves into that slot for now.

Yup there’s really not a winnable game til week 9 at Houston. Which frankly they could win and it helps their Texans pick they own. If they lose it helps their own pick.

They had plenty of opportunities to add better safety depth throughout the offseason. Don't want to hear that they want to upgrade the position now. Should've done in in March/April. Give me a break. And Baker makes a ton of money and will cost pick(s).

Reminds me of Colts with Luck

We're lucky that this team knows the importance of an Oline

Don’t need baker but if he became available for the right price you make that move he’s a 27 year old all pro player that can play safety, slot corner and even linebacker. Add on a great locker room guy and leader. If he were available at the right price I’d make that move in a heartbeat.

Y'all already beat up on Justin Fields?  Not Eagles, but that dude had a terrible game yesterday.  Terrible INT on a screen pass in the end zone.

Bears were the media darling, saying "Fields would make a Hurts type leap" this year because they traded for a WR.  Yeah, that's not happening.

I actually argued that because Hurts made that insane leap does not mean Fields will

Baker just signed a new deal in AZ didn't he?

I want Patrick Queen much more than I want Budda Baker, but I don't think the Ravens would make him available.

Also

Criminal that the Eagles didn't pursue John Johnson

They gave him more money in a bonus for this year not a new contract. He actually has one year left after this season

They declined his option but has been playing so well beside Smith that Ravens may reconsider

Terrible pass.  Terrible decision, bad football IQ.  That's a rookie mistake being made by a guy that has 27 starts under his belt.

Bust.
