The Damar Hamlin situation wasn't in the last 3 weeks of MNF.   But MNF has been the setting for a number of horrific injuries going back decades.  Joe Theismann's broken leg was MNF.  Napolean McCaullem's leg 'folding' the wrong way was MNF.  But, that's just the odds working out.  They play a lot of games on MNF, and there are a lot of injuries.  There are horrific injuries on the other days/nights too, but if its not a national game, it won't draw the same attention.   Alex Smith's leg injury was just a 1PM Sunday game, so less people watched it live.  It was more of a foot note than the Theismann injury.  But, frankly, I don't know which was 'worse'.   Smith's sure had a longer lasting impact on him than Theismann's did.  It was the end of Theismann's career, but he didn't suffer the infections and secondary issues that Smith did, even though he managed to return the NFL briefly.

It was the last MNF from last season, so it was, I thought?

I am so tired of boozed up NFL game fan culture. The league is in bed with the alcohol companies so they’ll never do it, but just stop serving alcohol or put a cap on it at this point. If you can’t go to a game without getting loaded up, then maybe let someone who wants to enjoy the experience go instead.

Booze is only a part of the issue here. Society in general is failing us. These fights are getting out of hand and even though there were fights at the Vet, nothing like what we see today. then you have fans using their phones to record rather than help. Kid lost his dad. Unreal

I think alcohol has as much to do with it as the games. Mix alcohol and emotions and some people get out of control. Not sure what can be done about it though other than arresting and convicting the offenders when they happen. Most people don't commit murder at sporting events.

Maybe don't let a sports team control your emotions. I know there are all different types of fandom but my goodness.

That's the right message.

But the white safety was trying to hurt the black WR. He needs to be stripped of his scholarship, banned from the NCAA and his family needs to receive threats. At least that's what Twitter/X told me.

The Colorado hype and Deion slobbing has reached an annoyance level I didn't think was possible. However, Deion is just being who is is and I still like that. Respect for him for sharing this message...the question is, will the sheep listen?

What twitter are you looking at?

Just read the comments in any of the 55 threads started about it.

Scrolling through to read the comments on twitter is definitely a good use of one's time. While you're at it, I hear there's this thing called 4chan, I bet you'll found lots of useful and reliable info there too.

Jonathan gannon’s defenses in the last 2 second halves in State Farm stadium has given up 55 points.

I admit, it's something I get sucked in to. I scroll hoping to find that not everyone on twitter is human garbage, instead just get more depressed by who actually comments. No idea what 4chan is.

Real mature. When are you going to grow up?

Imagine what twitter would be like if it were somehow flooded with even more incels and joe brogan fanboys and that's what 4chan is.

Marvin Harrison Jr. gets all of the hype, and rightfully so, but Egbuka would be incredible to add to this team in the draft.

Woof Justin Fields

Eagles cut him after one practice before so I'm not holding my breath on this one being meaningful

Any chance we make a run at Tavierre Thomas?  Very good slot defender on the last year of his deal with Houston.  Just broke his hand so have to figure out when his time table is

They’re both going top 10 most likely.

Wow.  You are right.  I apologize.  No MNF in the last week.   My mistake.

That's the biggest issue.   The rest sucks too.

He's on pace to shatter the record and win LVP
