Fair enough.  I don’t really take anyone to seriously these days except the wife and on rare occasion my adult kids.  Some don’t use the Ignore tool.  I do. I mostly scroll past if I am disinterested, like the baseball talk.  I am sure that when some of us drop a note about history that some folks scroll right past.  Majority of folks I have ignored are long gone because they were trolls or banned.  Frankly, I think RR is the former because his takes seem designed to get a rise.  A little give and take is fine, but it is okay in my mind to walk away from a conversation having not "won” the discussion or "owned” the other person.  The way offbeat takes seem focused on winning a rise and seeing how far it can be taken.

I just get amused when people troll. I had TorontoEagle and Bacardi and the like troll me all the time. Never took it personal. And I hollered back at times. Frankly, don't know why they were banned or for the exact incidents. Sure I can find out. They probably are all back on here anyway.  And I dont really care. All I know is if you dish it out,  be ready for some noise. It's fair. I mean there are lines to all of this and I get it. But I am on the loose side of it all.

I think you could have mush rushed Hurts into mistakes two years ago.

My suspicion is Siri plans to move away from heavy dependence on the RO this season, you have to keep Hurts upright to have any chance of getting to the SB, and having him get slobber knocked on RO plays is not the way to go. At least when he scrambles from the pocket, he's got the advantage over the tacklers, but I think some DCs are coaching players to just hit Hurts on the RO and don't worry about the ball.

Hurts is passing better than ever, he has three all pro caliber targets, and Swift and Gainwell should be targeted a lot more this season. So nothing wrong with running a more conventional offense.

I would like nothing more than to see the game plan change to run less options and for Hurts to absorb less of those free shots.  The talent is there with Hurts and the skill players to change the game plan and get one step in front of Ds that are looking to defend against last year's game plan.

Still want to see the QB1 calls on short yardage but hope we see (even) more wrinkles to frustrate defenses.  On that front, I am pretty sure we will see more stuff mixed in with the straight ahead scrum rushes.

I hate the West Coast swings.  When I retire... I'll just stay up past my bedtime and watch the game in my jammies like I did as a little tyke.  Until then... I'll just be a responsible adult and go to bed... will check the box score in the morning.  😢

Jammies?  Nah, you’ll discover the pleasures of being an empty nester.

Guys we don’t need a punter we got Jake!!!

they aren't designed to get a rise.   If I'm talking about hi ras versatile freakbeasts,  I would assume there is a majority who doesn't care about that,  and they can just scroll by. There are, at least in theory,  people who are interested in that and will read them.   I'm not doing anything to get any particular reaction.

Anyone notice that Colorado has a pretty good WR/CB, Travis Hunter?   Some would argue that it's impossible to play offense and defense.  I've heard that argument a lot,  and, yet, right now,  there is one, and he's being talked about in some places.

Some might think that some people should be able to set some consensus, and football things that are said that diverge from that consensus are somehow designed to get a rise.   I just reject that thinking entirely.  There should be diversity of thought, and people being exposed to thoughts that are not theirs is perfectly fine and is a good thing.  People should not get a rise when faced with thoughts that are not theirs.  If they do get a rise,  that's on them.

I would also argue that people here on this or some other message board should not be posting about other people on this board.  The subject of this board is not the posters in this board.   We shouldn't be talking about each other here.  Others seem to disagree with me, but I'm sure there are quite a few who don't want to be talking about each other,  but want to be talking about the Eagles, or NFL, or football in general, and sometimes the Phillies.

Oh JC. I'm not going through the thread to get everyone's name

Mike, even if you were to go through the thread and gather all the names (and there would be quite a few), they still wouldn't be a group.  Just a bunch of individuals having similar responses to RR's unique takes.

If he was willing to allow for the fact that there may be some other valid perspectives other than his own, he might not have received even 10% of the responses he got by saying "Im right and everybody else is wrong!".

Could it be that Mann became more inconsistent and less effective because of the knee injury?  He’s been cut two years in a row.

Here's the thing,  much of the time,  I type my thing,  and I get personally attacked.  I'll type some ras compare,  and the response is that what I did was "stupid".

People are generally not picking apart what I have to say,  they're just attacking.

Not all.  There are some good responses.  But often there are short one sentence attacks.

I don't mind that as much as when I become some independent topic of conversation.

So who’s gonna be the holder? We’ll see siposs back real soon if there’s some botched holds on FGs and/or PATs

Could be. All I know is this guy's NCAA records are impressive. There are many coaches who were positive this guy is going to be a stud punter and have a long career. I do know Jets fans wanted him gone. Especially, because he made a special teams tackle against the Broncos that cost them Trevor Lawrence. And never forgave him for that. On paper, this guy is mega talented. Have a feeling he's our guy.

It is extremely likely that if nothing changes, Siposs will be elevated from the PS to punt and hold.

Is this from this year or last?  I'm going with 13 and 4 this season.

And 31-13 Eagles for Sunday.

Wasn't following along closely enough as I saw some references to who was going to track game predictions.
