In the betting fraud department, these refs are clearly point shaving for the 49ers. Its way harder for the 49ers to cover if Williams gets the ejection he earned.

If the NFL cares about the Calvin Ridleys on their apps they also have to care about refs showing clear bias for 1 team.

At the end of the day malice or incompetence result in the same thing. People who took the Giants are being cheated tonight.

Yup I'm still in dis belief, commentators even laughing about it when they said Williams with the left hook.

The ref who was breaking it up and walking Trent out of the skirmish was laughing, then the refs get together and call off setting penalties and no body in the box or anybody else says anything about it.

Guaranteed one of the giants players throws a punch and they boot him immediately.

Refs will make sure the Whiners cover. 

That being said, I'm not scared of this team. Defense is pretty good, but McAffrey is the offense. 

Looks like Purdy was feeling some pain on that bogus RTP call, I dont see this kid making to the postseason in one piece.

You've got it backwards. That's not what point shaving is, the niners are the ones favored by 10.

In organized sports, point shaving is a type of match fixing where the perpetrators try to change the final score of a game without changing who wins.

Cute little narrative they have going with him. He's nothing more than a system QB, I think if Kittle wouldn't have bailed him on that floater earlier in the game, it would be significantly closer than it is right now.

In a game with a 10pt dog, it would imply the shaving would occur so that the favorite fails to cover.

I feel like if Purdy and Jones swapped jerseys no one would notice.

There is no term called reverse point shaving or anti-point shaving. Its the same thing both ways.

 

I understand that the textbook example is one of those favored by 18 point basketball games where they win by 14 instead by taking a bunch of plays off.

Yup purdys stats are so inflated by kittle deebo McCaffrey and others getting so much YAC after the catch, not because purdy is so accurate and throwing guys open but thise guys are so tough to bring down after tje catch.

You look at the stats after the game and one would think wow purdy is a stud then watching the game one would say purdy does a good job of throwing easy passes to guys that pick up a lot of yards after the catch

It's a tough offense to stop but it's not because purdy is a stud, he's just a game manager but hey when you have a defense l

And running game like he does that's all he has to be.
