This is why we're sick of Colorado. Oregon just played a near perfect game. Bo Nix was lights out at QB. Lanning got his team ready to play and had a great pre-game message...yet they all still want to focus on Deion Sanders and make this something it isn't.

Prime haters more than likely.

Some of us, sorry. I'm a huge Deion fan. I just hate the reaction to all of this.

I’m going to so rested for tomorrow night as the Japanese Grand Prix is one in a few hours time so I’ll have slept by 6pm my time when the games start.

Deion just has to make everything about himself

I’ve actually never been a big Deion fan because he wasn’t on the Eagles mainly. But I get what he’s doing. This is a multi-billion dollar entertainment industry even CFB. He’s being entertaining and increasing his own value

If we get to the SB, Travis Kelce dating Taylor Swift is going to be the difference this time.  Mark my words.  Only badness comes for athletes that go platinum.

She's playing the long game as a true Eagles fan.

The NCAA story is Coach Prime. I doubt anyone on this board can name who Oregon's coach is that gave the fiery pre-game speech with the exception of maybe the few Duck alum that are on here. Further, he's not wrong though. He's about to be loaded with blue chip 5* recruits. Admittedly he has me watching College Football for the first time since Rutgers had Ray Rice :D

Dan Lanning, what.

I like watching college more than the NFL. College football is the 2nd most popular sport in the US behind the NFL. Prime is a story and nothing more, it was cute while it lasted and maybe hear from him again next year, but it's done of the year. Colorado may score against USC, but Caleb will put 60 on them, easily.

I always forget she's from PA.

You're not following. He's bringing people to the game like Tiger brought people to Golf. He's making it even more popular. I don't like watching college more than NFL personally. I hate bad QB play. Makes the games hard to watch. I would only watch college teams if they had a good RB. Coach Prime will be the story for some time now so get used to it. Even more so when his roster is full of 5* guys and they're pushing for National titles every year.

Pardon my time machine back to the 2021 draft but if I'm Howie Roseman, I'm calling the Falcons to see what it takes to get Kyle Pitts. If a guy like Isaiah Simmons, who was the 8th pick, can be traded for a 7th round pick because he doesn't have a role on a team, then I don't see why Pitts wouldn't be attainable. He would be the successor to Goedert and could make it easier for the Eagles to carry 3 TE instead of 4.

Rookie year: 68 catches 1021 yards 1 TD

Since: 32 catches 415 yards 2 TD

I’d assume the common notion about Pitts throughout the league is that he’s under-utilized, not a bust of a player like Simmons. Drake London is in a similar spot there. These guys are good players and you’re not going to get a bargain for them.

I thank the high heavens we don’t have that front office. Kyle Pitts, Drake London, Bijan Robinson……that entire team is trash but they continue to draft  blue chip talent at skill positions only to let them rot.

It won't last unless they become another Bama or Georgia.

Don't forget they are moving to the Big-12 while Texas and Oklahoma are going to the SEC.  So who's gonna be the top dog in the Big-12?  Oklahoma St?  TCU?  Kansas St?  If he gets good recruits then Colorado will probably rule that conference.

And Oregon don't care.   They're moving to the Big-10.

I mean you could say the same about Dan Lanning, the Oregon coach.

So why does he get backlash for a pregame speech?

Most college fans know who Dan Lanning is and him coming from that Georgia staff.

I agree people will watch if he's winning and they were the first 3 weeks.  It was a good story.  I'm just not sure they can keep it up with who they are playing coming up.  If they can then great.

If they start losing though people will lose interest.  Tiger brought attention because he was winning golf tournaments.

Being able to get that automatic 1 yard on 4th and short is such a big deal

It's worth at least one win per season.

When they lose next week you will forget again.

I hope Colorado has deep pockets like the SEC does because his personality isn't getting 5 stars.

Conference champs guarantees you nothing. Big10 and SEC got ever stronger as conferences and committee may find 1 loss teams better then 0 loss team from an average conference.

They are expanding the CFP though so if Colorado wins out or has 1 loss in the Big-12 they will get in.

Can't remember if they're expanding to 8 or 12 teams.

Ryan Day calling out Lou Holtz 😄😄

I thought what Lou Holtz said was pretty benign.
