Getting more Sydney Brown in the box is a good thing. He fell to RD3 because of concussions and lack of reps as a post-safety. In the box though? Dude was a monster in college.

Undrafted rookie just getting thrown  into action due to an injury on a weird short week due to Thursday night football.  Not at all shocked that he wasn't prepared.  I'd rather they give him a shot at nickel with time actually preparing to play than to write him off completely.

Goodrich was on the team last year. Granted, only the practice squad. But he did dress for one game during the season.

Let's not act like he's only been in town since April.

Wrong Brown

We got to be more specific, people.

Even Carter is being brought along slowly compared to his talent level.  On most teams, he'd be getting close to 100% of the snaps.  Here he's still running a lot of second team behind Cox and Williams.  Could you imagine if the Browns had drafted Myles Garrett and then only played 50% or less of the snaps in game 1?

Nope - doesn’t make a lot of sense. DTs top out at 60-70% of snaps, but he’s still playing second fiddle to Fletch which doesn’t seem right as he looks more disruptive and I’d like to keep Fletch fresh for the long season with reduced snaps.

I spent almost all of last season rooting for the Bucs. Not because I like them. I certainly don't. But I didn't want the Saints to back into a division title with a losing record and I didn't trust the Falcons or Panthers to finish ahead of them. So by default, I wanted the Bucs to win enough games to win that silly division.

Rooting for them was painful most of the time. They often times looked inept and dysfunctional. Frankly, I'm surprised they're 2-0 at this point.

Unless the Bucs have improved dramatically, which seems unlikely with the retirement of Brady, I don't see them beating us. If we don't turn the ball over repeatedly or take a slew of stupid penalties, we ought to win this comfortably.

What’s everyone snacking on tonight? I smoked a few minutes ago and can’t decide on what to get.

Munchies , grab some of everything

2 days after the coaches talk up Goodrich as the nickel/slot CB, he's a healthy scratch.  What am I missing?

I see Baker Mayfield as a rich man's Gardner Minschew.  He's not good.  I wouldn't want him as my QB.  But he'll scamper around and will heave the ball out there to give his receivers a chance to make a play.  And he does it with less talent than most but more than Minschew.

When the stars align, he's capable of having a big week.  Just not sustained or reliable.  But it can always happen.

He's not good.

Bradberry and Ricks (who got nickle snaps vs. Minnesota) are better.

They lied. He stunk.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe we’ve played more man coverage this year under Desai. Bradberry in man coverage in the slot seems a little iffy. He’s also gonna have to play a more physical brand of football, facing actual blockers and not WRs in the run game. Big ask for someone coming off a concussion.

Cover 1 yes, Cover 0, no.

Chris Stapleton (damn good) with Snoop.  Interesting pairing.

Not saying he’s good…just enjoying the misdirection.

The stands look like Christmas.

You will never see an easier 3rd down. Awful.

Yep, actions speak louder than words.

Also why is Albert O on this team? Makes no sense to inactivate every game

I'm still at volleyball.  Everyone turn off your computers.

They are lucky Baker missed that.  Seem to be locking in on Jobe.
