Didn’t seem well thought out in terms of execution.  The silent snap was a great call. 

The whole point of the tush push is that it is unstoppable by the other team.

So why stop it ourselves by not doing it?

Brian Johnson is having a good game. Good balance. The team not executing is more of an issue. People overrate the impact of play calls. It is important, but it’s behind design, and execution in terms of importance. Team didn’t execute tonight but I like the selection of run and pass.

Seeing how it went I'm happy he pulled that failed play out now instead of an important moment in a bigger game down the line.  September is the new preseason.  It's the time to workout the kinks in the offense.  If you can come out of it 3-0 then you're golden if you start to then hit your groove as the season goes on.

Well, yes… But a fake off of that was a logical progression.  Like e45 said… it slows them down from the D trying to jump it  too fast
