Swift showed a lot of burst through the LOS, where Gainwell didn’t show nearly as much.  Not sure if it was the field conditions, but Gainwell was too tentative tonight 

What a great find Blankenship was for them. He’s bailed out an entire position group there and makes that position more than serviceable. They have put zero assets into that group.

Everyone loves it and calls for it, but we don’t want to be the Titans with prime Henry.  Heck, we don’t want to be the Eagles with prime Westbrook.  He was so often dinged for the playoffs.

It’s controversial, it won’t be popular, but he needs to be rb1 in a generous 3 rb rotation.

Boston Scott is the second best RB, that's sort of the issue. Scott is a great alternative, not sure why he isn't given more trust.

Really, really impressive to run the ball that well vs a very good Bucs run defense.

We'll have to teach him how to hit airborne WRs though. Such a weird play he like carried him on his back

Was saying it all offseason and end of last year. Blank is a monster. You might not have been able to find a better safety in the third or higher. With how well he's playing so soon it's like we got an extra high round pick.

If this keeps up, the "what to do" with Swift in the offseason is going to be FASCINATING.

The Eagles know what their OL does to RBs.  The rest of the NFL knows what the Eagles OL does to RBs.  Free agent RBs and their agents know what the Eagles OL does to RBs.  

 

Where the hell has Penny been?  It's not that we need him in the running game, but if they goal is to keep the RB room healthy it would be nice for him to shoulder some of the load.  It'd be a shame if he's completely used up already.  The guy was explosive.

Would like to see Penny mixed in more.  He was chomping at the bit on the sideline for some playing time.  Hungry dogs run faster

When Gainwell was in, it was obvious the Eagles were running the ball. Swift deserved the rest. Point should be that the Eagles had a nine minute drive there at the end.
