No, It's a summertime delight that I love to make myself.  The game started at 4:15 out here on the Left Coast, and i could listen to Merell and Mike on Sirius XM through my hearing aids while assembled the pie.  Here is the recipe.

Like Aikman said, that play was all vision by Hurts and reaction by OZ.  Everything else was secondary to that.

The OL gave him 5 seconds to throw that ball.  They deserve a large portion of the credit.

Guess no one will be in here this week whining about how we suck and how the Cowboys will destroy us. Settle down and let the long NFL season develop bit by bit. We are right where we were last year so far.

Didn’t joe buck say we were 3-0 for the first time since 92? Idiot

The Boys have a good team but they talk way to much trash and let the media get into their heads.  Parsons will talking so much junk on Dobbs and he cooked them.   I like that we aren't talking and continuing to grow each week.  I don't know why people want us to look like Super Bowl LVII Eagles right now.   I think we are getting closer and closer to exploding.  Tonight was an example.  Defense, Special Teams even Offense was exploding.  But yes.  It was the Media jumping on the Boys bandwagon.   It's good for ratings.  Happy Gannon burst their bubble on Sunday.   There can be an argument made that we are playing just as good or even better than Last year after 3 games.

2022

Barely beat the Lions on the road gave up 35 points

Blew out Vikings in Primetime

Blew out Washington

2023

Barely beat Patriots on the Road in the Rain

Basically blew out the Vikings again in Primetime though the score looked closer

Blew out the Bucs on the Road in the Rain

The Eagles have had double digit leads in every single game this season.

Watching them pick each other up after those plays tells the tale. It must be taxing on them.

I think yesterday was more a case of the conditions.  It’s humid as hell down there

Victory Tuesday!

Team is growing but the defense still concerns me becauseof injuries and a few holes. The DE aren't playing as well as they should. The secondary still worries me and I think a better QB eats them alive.  Howie getting one more piece via trade could make a big difference. LBs played better today. Still think they need one more there as well. DC is doing a good job.

They were better tonight on offense but have lot of work to do. Signs point upwards.

I think Sweat is causing more havoc than the stat sheet shows. The guy is everywhere. He's going to get home on a lot of sacks. Reddick on the other hand, needs to step up.

I love how Covey stared his football mortality in the face and just decided to go balls to the wall, run directly into the hurricane style.  You can tell teams have no idea whats going on, like is this little dude really running straight at us right now?

He left at least 3 sacks on the table. Once he learns how to finish plays - fuhgeddaboudit

Yea he did, but give some credit to Mayfield too.  He's pretty squirrely in the pocket.  In time, I'd imagine Carter learns to control his rush just a little bit. Right now he's going balls to the wall just putting lineman on skates, which is fantastic. Once he learns when to shed the blocker, he's going to be unstoppable.

The cool thing about the win tonight is all 3 wins, is that we can play better. A LOT better. And yet we still outgained the Bucs by about 300 yards.

You could tell from his stance (his right leg was far back, ready to retreat) that Hurts was not going to sneak the ball on that last short yardage attempt. It's a shame he tripped because it would have been nice to see what they had planned.

Happy to see Covey have a big night. I've been a fan of his the entire time.

We can play better.

This team isn't firing on all cylinders yet, especially when it comes to the passing game and the play calling. The Eagles best player, Jalen Hurts, has been playing like a shell of himself and the guy calling the plays still looks to be a bit lost.

Once Hurts gets it back in gear (hopefully he does), this offense is going to be unreal. Johnson also has to do a better job of rotating the RB. I get that Swift isn't going to be a 30 touch guy but when he's gashing a defense again like he was last night, it's way too frustrating to see Gainwell for multiple series. Give Swift breathers here and there but don't take him out of the game and try to get Gainwell in a rythym.

They traded down, passing on Carter so they could take a running back. Give Philly Swift

I thought he said 3-0 in back to back years for the first time since 92-93, but I was only half paying attention.

Brian Mitchell was great at running straight at the return teams.....

.3-0 in back to back seasons.

I asked last night but I’ll try again. Does anyone know if Bradberry lined up on the outside at all? When I paid attention to two WR sets he wasn’t out there.

Maybe they wanted to ease him back in since it was a new spot and he had the concussion, but moving forward that seems like a bad idea.

Thats honestly what it takes.  Some of Westbrooks and DJs best returns were also cutting right through the crowd

I guess Covey got rocked so much last year, and survived it, he figures he may as well just go all out.

He might be the most improved Eagle, maybe he or Jordan Davis.  But Covey is legit having an impact, his first return gave the team a spark

If this keeps up, the "what to do" with Swift in the offseason is going to be FASCINATING.

The Eagles know what their OL does to RBs.  The rest of the NFL knows what the Eagles OL does to RBs.  Free agent RBs and their agents know what the Eagles OL does to RBs.

What's crazy is Gainwell has never done what Swift has done. Arguably nor had Miles Sanders. Goes to show what an explosive back with good vision and contact balance can do behind this OL. Haven't seen anything like this since Shady.

Brian Mitchell weighed 225. Covet weighs 50 pounds less.

Needed this win tonight.

I'm very sorry to hear that vikas. I know its little consolation but he is no longer in pain and at peace.

The best thing to happen to the offense this season was Gainwell missing week 2.
