And you are Chicken Little seeing issues where there are nothing more than factual observations.

What are the factual observations?  I see two: 1) Eagles with Jalen are 20-1 in last 22 regular season games he has started and 2) Eagles are 0-3 in their last 3 regular season games in that same span when Jalen didn't start and play in those regular season games.

None of them can seem to survive. For whatever reason they get destroyed in that scheme. We saw it first hand.

Purdy is helped and eventually broken by the scheme in SF.

Hurts is the scheme in Philly.

If Purdy dominates vs Dallas and Cleveland in the next 3 weeks then I will grudgingly start to give him credit.

The problem with Purdy is that he is hyped by liars. I saw a header on a YouTube Video on the Giants game titled Purdy: No bad throws.

I saw him miss wide open guys for possible big plays like 3 to 5 times in that game.

8-0 is great. The constant pretending he is more than he is... not great.

Remember when Mac Jones won 8 of 9 games in the middle of his rookie year and the loss was to the Cowboys in OT? The same pretending about his greatness was rampant.

He had a 105.8 rating in those games. He's the next Tom Brady! 🤣 He's 8-13 as a starter since then.

Don't think there's anything wrong with reasonably criticizing or having concerns for a guy we just gave the largest NFL contract of all time (at the time) to. He has had some struggles but that's not to say they aren't due to rust, new OC, etc. Just hoping he improves throughout the year. If he doesn't, that's another story.

He's one of the lowest rated passers in the entire NFL through 3 weeks.  So that's very concerning.

With that said, the good things are there.  He has made big throws down field, but throws in the teeth of rushers, really challenging reads pre and post snap.  I don't think he has shown a fixed inability to do anything he has do to besides consistency.

IMO, week 1 he did absolutely nothing good.  Week 2, still rough, but the second half showed signs of life.  Week 3, he made several big plays offset by several mistakes.

If he can just clean up the mistakes moving forward he'll probably be fine.

I do think the biggest difference between Mac Jones and Brock Purdy is the team they play for...and that was the biggest difference between them in college too.

I’ll stfu about Covey I was a hater

1 more:

Purdy is 8-0 with a 100+ rating = obvious historical greatness

Bailey Zappe is 2-0 with a 100+ rating = does not get claimed when waived.

I'd really like to see our OL tush push against our DL.

Drew Brees has a career win percentage of 60.1%.  The stretch of losing you showcased was just under .500.  How much worse do you think those Saints teams would have been those seasons if Brees wasn't the QB?  I mean we saw it with Rodgers as your other example when he was injured and missed time in Green Bay in his career.  The Packers fell off the face of the planet into losing without him those seasons.

Meanwhile Trent Dilfer a career winning percentage of 50.4%.  Yeah he won a Super Bowl with one of the greatest defenses to ever step on the field but he certainly didn't have a career of success beyond that.  Dan Marino by the way since you mentioned him, 61.3% career winning percentage.

Turns out good QBs have a major impact on a team's success.  If you're a good QB then you will lead your teams to wins over your career.  There aren't good QBs in the modern NFL that are continual losers because the impact of QBs on the outcome of games is greater than the impact of any other position, possibly in all of sports.

I can't take your football opinion seriously if you aren't able to admit that.

Never said they don't.  I said they are not alone in determining it.  TEAMS win.  TEAMS lose.  That's what I said.   QBs need surrounding casts to make winning possible.  There are 11 men on the field at a time, never just one.

2 of his 3 picks were grade z garbage mental errors. I'm not sure if anyone is pretending they were not.

The team is dominant in talent and uneven in play so far. That includes Hurts. That is led to inconsistency by Hurts.

He's probably around 22 in passer rating so far with those bad throws dragging him down.

I'm also factoring in about 5 or 6 throws to AJ that he should have caught (2 on stupid call/no call penalties, a sideline bobble, a miss on a tough TD catch or two etc.)

See the clear flaws, but also see the good plays that did not connect through no fault of Hurts.

I'll have a close eye on our secondary, specifically the corners, moving forward.

The Eagles have jumped out to 2-score leads in all 3 games.  Teams fear the DL and make it an essential point of emphasis to get the ball out quickly.  Our CBs have just been sitting on 10 yard cushions.  So they haven't really been challenged, but they've generally given up chunk plays when they have.

I bet Carter for DROY at +700. His odds are now +100.

What are his odds for DPOY? Not that i think he wins it but right now he’s playing well enough to be in competition

We did it!

Jalen Hurts' EPA per dropback become much, much better if AJ Brown doesn't drop two TDs last night or they don't take away a TD last week. It's the same process for Jalen, without the results.

He's been an average passer this year, who is still a + in the run game, therefore he's about QB12 right now.

QBs make winning possible more than any other position.  Winning is ultimately a QB stat because of that.  Despite how you seem to really not want to credit Jalen at all for being 20-1 in his last 21 regular season starts, he has played a major role in that record being what it is.

I think last night was Jalen's best game of the season.  He did start out slow but the offense was efficient in the 2nd half.  They could have easily scored another TD at the end of the game but just wanted to kill the clock.  He made good throws during that drive on third downs to keep the drive going. I think overall the offense handled the blitz far better than in the first 2 games.  The play calling in the red zone is the most problematic issue.  I am not sure why they don't use more motion and shovel passes to create RAC plays with blockers in space for players.  I am not sure all of it is on Jalen.  I will say that he had 2 passes to AJ that were dropped and should have been TDs in the red zone.

Allen should have called a fair catch.  That's the new rule this year.  You can fair catch anywhere and get ball on 25

Much better

@e-a-g-l-e-s eagles! Myles Garrett is just beasting so far this year. Cleveland is #1 in points allowed, yards allowed, passer rating allowed, and yards per play allowed.

Its Garrett by a long way so far on the field.

Arizona exploited Parsons this week but he still got a sack in the humiliation so he's probably still #2 (or 1 because voters are simpletons)

I'm not sure if Carter was even on the board last week but he will be when they update this week.

When the TEAM was almost exactly the same except Minshew for Hurts I did not see the TEAM WINNING last year.

If the Cowboys OL doesn't heal up by Sunday, the Patriots can 100% beat them. The Patriots defense made the Dolphins offense look human.

There is a lesson for Desai and Nick there.  Lots of film study of that game.
