My wife made the tush push illegal already.  Never even went to the competition committee.

Sorry to hear that.

I would file an appeal.

Copycat league. They're not done facing it in the least.

Post game, they are riding Ranger hard for not pitching great.   I put zero stock in tonight's game for Ranger.  He was likely not exactly in his best condition.

I'm being greedy with nasty DT now. I want Taylor next to Carter and Davis. You can move Williams before he's due a big extension.

You know, a few years ago I would have agreed with you, but I’ve sort of reconsidered how dynamic and how adaptable NFL teams are.

Maybe it’s due to the coaches stubbornness, or maybe implementing new concepts mid season really is that difficult, but having been a serious fan of the NFL for more than a few decades now I’ve come to the conclusion that most teams/coaches simply won’t change much or adapt much over the course of a season.

Teams/coaches who can make significant changes or implement dynamic new schemes and concepts in a few weeks or less are rare. Most teams essentially are what they are by the start of preseason IMO,

Where do you think he goes in RD1?

Don't want DL not from Georgia.

I still think Williams has a lot of untapped potential and is really unheralded on this DL.  He has been solid this year despite not putting up any explosive plays.  It's usually BS when people say this, but I think he'd be starting just about anywhere.  He's still got some time under contract, but he's an absolute FA gem waiting for someone.

Williams is playing the DE a lot in five man sets.

I think that works for him too...

Between Cox’s age and Williams’ impending contract, I wouldn’t be totally opposed to it.

UGA has some top notch DB in Javon Bullard and Kamari Lassiter to go along with Brock Bowers this year. I've been a big Bullard fan but think he's better off as a nickel in the NFL. I wouldn't be mad at adding Bowers in the 1st either.

So what money comes free when BG and kelce retire?

A lot of dead money hits.

Well we need a nickel.

Would you draft in the 1st though? I think he's a 1st round talent but seems like a reach for 3rd CB.

That's tricky.  It really depends on the nuances of slot vs outside CB in this defense and in general, which are beyond me.  A first round pick for a career nickel CB?  Noooope.  A first round pick for a nickel CB as a rookie who replaces Slay in year 2?  Sure.

But that may be tricky to find the right guy that projects to both and then there are the questions of how it impacts comfort and development.

I want Mykel Williams in Eagle Green no matter the cost come 2025.

Put him next to Carter/Davis and you have a D-Line that can eclipse Reggie/Brown/Simmons.

Yea, he's nasty too.

We still have a lot of good defense on the gauntlet too.

Washington x2

Dallas x2

Jets

Bills

49ers

Dolphins aren’t great but could be better by then too.

It's a bummer kids these days don't have the Saturday morning NFL Films shows to watch. I learned so much about the history of the game by watching Steve Sabol share the old NFL Films highlights with Facenda narrating away.

Any chance are you referring to "Under the  Helmet?”.  My roommate was a film logger for NFL films back in the day and twice snuck me in for the in house music performance.  Front row for Jurassic 5 and on stage with the roots. Yes, the white boy dance was in full effect.

Remember when the Broncos gave up 70 points (a 50 point differential) and 700+ yards to the Dolphins?

They're 3.5 favorites over there Bears this week.

Starks is the best player at Georgia not named Bowers

There's some truth in that too for sure.

They’ll likely cover on the road, too.  The Bears look like the worst team in the NFL to this point.
