OSU, Bama, and Oregon most notably were recruiting very well in Cali before Riley. Until he quits being loyal to Grinch, his defenses won't change. Although they are improved over last years team. USC recruiting has never been the major problem. They’ve been able to keep a good amount of talent in LA in LA. Oregon recruits california well even with Riley there. Oregon because of their ties with Nike money and NLI to do it so Riley isn’t just killing Oregon recruiting in California. They still get talent from California. Also, USC moving to that conference opens up Avenues for Ohio State and Michigan to start recruiting California even more. Because now they can say hey we’re always gonna play out in California and a couple west coast games. Why not come to Ohio State and Michigan. So instead of just recruiting wars with Utah and Oregon, which Riley is likely to win he’s now dealing with the potential of Ohio State and Michigan with Oregon. Just like some of the schools like Arizona , Arizona State and Utah going to the big 12 is gonna open up Texas for them because they’re gonna be playing in Texas more. I know because I talk to the Arizona coaches here and it’s exactly what they’ve seen behind the scenes 

This is the best the pac 12 conference has been in nearly a decade. There’s not been an Ohio state or Michigan in the pac 12 conference. Oregon is a top 10-15 program the last 5-6 years. They aren’t a top 5 like Michigan and Ohio state. They’ve never recruited at those levels. Utah like Oregon. Again, USC in the Pac 12 could have dominated this conference. There is two other bluebloods football schools in the big 10. And they’re adding Oregon and they’re probably going to add Notre Dame at some point in time. So you’re gonna be competing Oregon, Ohio state, Michigan, penn state and eventually ND. The pac 12 is much easier except for this year. Pac 12 was a much easier avenue for them to dominate then the big 10

Michigan i could see. However not putting Penn state when Penn state has yet to play in a playoff and Ohio state did and nearly beat Georgia last year in that playoff. 

I've only seen a bit of the Penn State games this year but I haven't been impressed with OL.  Are they able to run the ball well enough to beat the big teams?

This guy can't really coach.  Helluva recruiter though.  Penn State isn't outmatched athletically any more... their trouble is the X's and O's... its no longer the Jimmy's and the Joe's.

Sometimes that is helping the guy.  Some guys can't perceive their need for help, until they've hit rock bottom.  Chris Carter needed to be slapped across the face with the reality that he wasn't untouchable because of his football talent.  It helped to motivate him getting the help he needed.

Yeah i can’t say Penn state is better than Ohio state or Michigan until they get to where Ohio state and Michigan have which is the cfb playoff. Ohio state and Michigan made it last year. And Ohio state lost 42-41 to the national champion and gave Georgia everything they could handle. If Penn state makes the playoff this year and beats those two schools then we can have that convo. 

If any Phillies players get hurt on this Mets field... . 

Mets find one more way to be an embarrassment this season.   Garbage field because the grounds crew failed to recognize that a tropical storm might dump a lot of rain on them.   Who needs to cover the field?   Meh... no big deal.

I’m pretty sure every team in the nfl would have done the same. Him not being on the Raiders’ roster doesn’t mean they can’t help him

They also boned the marlins setting up their rotation for the wild card round/clinching. Cause they made it a double header their best pitcher was thrown off by a day. And there was thought that game could’ve and likely should’ve been played without the DH. Not that i care about the marlins but the mets being a crap show this week deserves more ridicule.

The situations are different…Jones clearly isn’t well, he needs help more than a wake up call, IMO.

They are definitely different, but very much the same.  Addiction is just as serious as mental health and can have just as horrific consequences.

Yeah 6th overall, 26 sellouts and 40 games over 40k. I’m betting the sixers this year with attendance sees a drop off cause the fan base is irritated with the organization. Flyers are in a world of hurt. I’d be surprised if they were top half of the league.

After tomorrow the Eagles don't play another 1pm game until.... Washington again about a month later. Then not again until the very end of the season vs Arizona.

Don't they usually wear the black jerseys for Sunday nights or against the giants?
