  • Personal Note: Today was a tough day. My wife’s father passed away after a long battle with cancer at 3am this morning. He has 2 son-in-laws, and our teams are the Eagles and Bucs. So…it was kind

My oh my.

It is absolutely disgusting how wide open these guys are.

The defense is being exposed and other teams are taking notes.

Breakdown on 3rd down. Love to see it. We're really bad playing against bunch formations.

Slay was jogging after that play.

DBs look real confused on some of these alignments

Maybe he trains with Hurts

Is slay planning on covering anyone today?

He’s not being coached to half ass it…c’mon

you could tell on that run that he definitely did.

Our DL is getting owned, the whole team is flat.

They’ve punted on 2 of 3 drives. The only drive they looked good was the first when they had a script for the first 15 plays

The second drive was killed by refs calling offsides on the Eagles offense despite the Redskins defense literally touching the ball with their hand presnap.  They picked up the first in the play.

If the DL doesn’t own the game this defense will struggle, it’s just the way it is.

Slay didn't even look like he tried

In Howie’s defense, he knew this was coming.  Didn’t go out of his way at all to keep Bradberry OR Slay.  They had no other options so brought them back.  Feels like Slay is getting picked on more than Jobe.

Why aren’t we calling timeout??

He did, but i highly doubt that’s by design.

9/11, 81.8%, 69 yards, 1 TD drive and 0 turnovers.  But he was off on one throw so he's either inured or regressing.

Bad mechanics, slow, and hesitant

Just doesn't look like the guy from last year

Again, hope I'm wrong

Just an awful performance. Awful

Ok glad they showed that balloon popping…I thought i was seeing things for a bit there.

You think 69 yards in 2 quarters of football is good? Averaging less than 10 YPA?

Howie needs to stop neglecting the CB position high in the draft. It’s time to invest significant draft resources in the secondary

I didnt say the coaches coached him to.  Might be a decision of his own. Hes not out there looking to run through tacklers. He could have sprinted towards the sidelines and tried to stiffarm him for a few extra yards. He could have tried to truck him as he would in the past. Instead he hesitated, and got ready to slide.
