That was a pretty good push off they didn't seem to call on that TD. Shocker

If the eagles get the ball, this will be an excellent opportunity for Gainwell to suck the life out of Washington.

Defense is gassed.  Defense has heads down. Great

Also given up 11 tds in 15 red zone trips on the year. They are garbage inside the red zone.

We gave up a 3rd and 17 on that drive. The most Eagles thing ever.

BS. 100% on Desai weak ass defense. 7 point lead blown by a guy who threw 4 ints a week ago lol. Softy softy letting NFL players play backyard catch.

Washington should have never gotten the ball back.   Yes, Desai has to stop them... but it should have never come down to that.    The Eagles had the game in their grasp and decided that the TD was more important than the win.

Had Washington gone for 2, I think the Eagles would have lost.   Fortunately... they still have a shot.   But, this is dangerously close to becoming a case of snatching a defeat from the jaws of victory.

The DL in particular. Tui was out there at the end of that drive

They should have taken a time out after they got the big play on 3rd and 17.

Reminds me of that titans game.

Passing game finally gets back on track and everything else falls apart.

Sheesh

It seems almost unfair that Howell chose to throw it short of the end zone with 5 seconds left, and Washington still had another chance to win the game. That just doesnt seem possible.

Be a good time for a turnover.

Forget Mahomes.  Every qb they’ve faced this year besides Baker Mayfield has torched them.  Stafford next week is the best qb they’ve seen all year and Cupp will be back.  That’s going to be a crap show too.

You’ve got a 1 TD lead on Sam Howell with 1 minute.  Forget the fact they scored a TD instead of kicked a fg with time expiring.

The pass defense is an embarrassment.

yes...   BUT in today's NFL, you don't give away the last possession.  You control the ball, and you control the game.  Its pretty simple.  That's the new NFL.

So that taunting call. Realllllllly petty. Huge part of that.

3rd and 17 against Sam Howell really hurts

Commanders should’ve went for 2 cause Frankly whoever gets the balm first is likely winning.

Also aj brown taunting penalty (whether you agree with it or not) aided in giving them a shorter field. I get it was a bs penalty to call but you have to know the situation and not put yourself in that type of position to even be called for it. You want to taunt do it after the clock strikes 0

I agree with you, but they should have never called that play to begin with. In that situation, you run the clock and kick the FG. We got cute, and it could very well bite us in the ass.

Wow that was close

Disagree here. When you have the opportunity to score, you do it. Not the play calling that made Brown taunt.

graham right up the gut.

Holy crap the refs are going to give that to them

Uuuuh that was close

They will overturn it

Blankenship's arm made that play.  His foot rode on Reed's forearm to get the toe out of bounds.

Stafford is going to throw for 400 yards.
