Hurts/AJ/Elliott won us this game

In this order... point the fingers at these guys.

@Iggles_Phan the first four games feel a lot like what the Phillies went through the first two months of the season. Where they just couldn’t get everything. Clicking and going. When the offense was good the pitching sucked. When the offense sucked the pitching was good. When the starters and hitting was good the bullpen sucked. they just didn’t have everything going and just out of sync but eventually put it together. The difference being the Eagles are 4-0 and the Phillies lost a lot of games then turned it on.

Can we fire Brian Johnson and get another coach in there like the Phillies?

Should have closed out on offense... like they did last week.  Don't put it on your defense when you don't have to.... especially THIS defense.

I agree but I don’t mind scoring a TD when you can.  It’s not a sure thing to close out the clock and kick the fg

Hurts earned his money today. First time all season.

And here we are in overtime.   There are circumstances where scoring hurts you... and this one of them.   They scored too soon, and I felt that way as it happened.

The taunting call just made it worse.

If you keep running plays and there is a chance for a turnover or penalty where you get no points. Score. That’s how you win.

That's the new Jalen Hurts nickname and that is the new 2nd generation He Hate Me.

He Hurts Me.

This needs to be a wakeup call. Teams can beat us. We aren't invincible.

The Eagles are a "Minnesota Vikings” kind of 4-0.

I don’t know about that. They’re not making miraculous comebacks in these games. On the whole, they were in control in their first three games despite dicey moments. Today was the only game they trailed for an extended period of time and it was because of a disaster, fluky first half where not one call or play went their way.

Disagree. MIN was winning because other teams kept giving the game away.

We keep winning in-spite of trying to give the game away.

He was really good today, but he’s still got a long list of mistakes and things to work on from today too.

Still shocked that Rivera didn’t go for 2 at the end of regulation.

Sirianni’s worst game in a while.

Sidnt call timeout at the end of the first half. Sat on a timeout, cost them a chance to go for a TD.

At the end of one of the latter drives, elected to run the ball I stand of being aggressive, making it only a TD game.

At the end of the game elects to go for a TD instead of running iu the clock.

Not sure what’s up with him this year. Remember a couple games back he didn’t go for 2 against the Vikings which could’ve cost them. He’s making some questionable coaching decisions.

That was yikes and I wouldn't feel comfortable against a better team

People can say the officiating was terrible... and it was.

People can say Brown is a moron for even doing anything that could be a taunt there... and he was.

but the decision to throw that TD rather than kill the clock was the part that nearly cost this team.   And I still can't believe they didn't go for 2.  They would have won the game.

The entire coaching staff should be tarred and feathered after this game.  Their idiocy bailed out by our ice cold kicker.

We scored 34 points, but didn't rely on the run game. Hurts threw for 319 yards, 2 TDs and no turnovers.

That's because Hurts and AJ put on the Batman capes

Nothing is a sure thing.  But, I watched this defense all day.  The chances of the negative happening if they run the ball and kick the FG at the end of regulation was a much lower chance of happening than the defense playing like swiss cheese and letting Washington move down the field to tie it up, OR go for 2 and then that's not how you win, that's how you lose.

The reason the Eagles got the ball back was because "Riverboat" Ron didn't roll the dice on the 2 point conversion.  This defense was gassed.  The 2 point seemed a foregone conclusion.  And then, Reed's forearm just happened to land under McLaurin's foot and carried his toe out of bounds.

Nah, I'd rather trust the OL, Swift and Elliott with the game on the line.

In lighter news, Santa Claus invaded the Ryder Cup today and went for a swim. Don't blame him with the busy period he has coming up

Hard to play against 12.

Let Jalen run.  The emphasis on protecting him is hurting the team.

It’s a W, which is better than it was last year.

Short week this week.  Then next week the long flight to LA.  Schedule hasn’t been friendly except the mini bye.  Rams also went to OT.

Can’t believe I am saying this but go Pats, Seahawks and Cardinals.

I still have no problem with scoring the TD there and not running out the clock.  There’s no guarantee you are kicking that fg with time expiring…and knowing our defense, the Commanders are probably kicking a fg to send it to OT.

I 100% blame the defense for allowing that.  They were terrible against a bad offense all day.  With the exception of 1 week, they’ve allowed bad QBs to gut them all year.

It’s a bad secondary.

I don't blame the offense at all for scoring.  If you can score then do so.

That last drive to send it to OT was on the defense.

Being up 7 with less than 1:30 should be plenty to hold on especially if they only have 1 timeout.

Not giving flowers to AJ after his dumb penalty almost cost them the game.
