Will never happen. He'll "retire".

I wonder how bad he wants the "most career victories" title. I'm not sure which NFL owner would hire a 70 year old head coach - HOF bound or not - but I'm sure there's one. Mark Davis maybe?

This game is going to be painful with Kelce/Swift mania.

I just don’t understand how a 2nd year udfa getting torched up and down the field is the least of our problems.  Everyone treats him like a second round pick when they say there’s potential or upside there.

If we cut him tomorrow, he’d have to settle for a practice squad somewhere….and he’s essentially now our starting outside cb.

He went to Alabama.  People get worked up over that.  Jalen Mills went to "DB U" in LSU... but was a 7th round pick, and got lit up less than Jobe.  And he took way more heat.

Jobe is our #3 CB. Most team's #3 CB aren't "good". Jobe is fine. Would I rather Ricks/Ringo replace him in 2024? Sure. For now, he's not the reason our defense is struggling. If we cut him, he's immediately claimed.

The spine of our defense is SLOW.

There is no upside with Edmunds. He's an Anthony Harris out there.

If the Eagles were smart, they would be getting Mekhi Garner as many safety reps as they can. 6-2 212 and an athlete. Come on!

Interesting... Long played almost his entire career with the Rams.  Won a Super Bowl with the Pats, but it seems he's an Eagle for life now.

What’s the potential?  I can forgive an inexperienced second year player for getting torched, but he’s a udfa with sub par athleticism.  I’m not sure what the potential is.  I think he’s a run of the mill udfa getting undeserved playing time and looks the part.

I dont think youre noticing anything positive he does. Hes not bad at all. Hes looked like at least an average starting CB.

I'm not suggesting cutting him.  The roster is what it is.  Moving forward, they need to look to upgrade the CB position.

They also need a better S to pair with Blankenship, and maybe even upgrade him.  And, they need LBs who can cover and stop the run.

I think Mills was a really good pick and a serviceable starting db.

I love going Alabama, UGA, LSU (when they were atop the SEC)…but that’s for their premium talents.  The guys that go to those schools and are labeled late picks and udfas generally don’t have much upside.  They’ve already had access to pro level coaching, conditioning, and (all pro) talent surrounding them.  I’ll take the first and second round picks from those schools, but I’ll take my udfas from middle Tennessee state.

Yea, he's a guy I loved at UVA and wished the Eagles had a chance at getting him when he was younger. Would have loved to have him for more than 2 years but glad we did and glad he's adopted the Eagles as his team for life.

In the 7th, he was a great pick... but still a guy you look to upgrade eventually.

Sam Howell threw 25 ints last week.  This week he threw almost 300 yards for a nearly 100 qb rating.  Does that happen with an at least average starting cb playing with Slay, Bradberry, and Blankenship?

Jobe, along with Edmunds, is the weak leak of a secondary that is below average, so I don’t see how we can call him an average starting cb.

Whenever S. Brown is healthy, they seriously need to start him with Blankenship for the rest of the year.

I do not think Jobe is "good". But I would replace one of Morrow/Edmonds and Edmunds waaaay before I worry about Jobe.

I would also ask Slay to play better.

He actually had a really nice pass breakup in the 1st half today that prevented a 1st down.

Jobe is a playable backup - Goodrich isn’t, that’s the problem.

Weird day to go after Morrow.

That 2PT conversion really saved us. We lose if we kick the XP.

I was scared Rivera would have gone for the 2 pointer to finish the game.

Playing 12 yards off on 3rd and 5 is a big part of the problem.

They go for 2 after the Brown TD if that were the case.

More about duplication. Neither is a good cover LB.

The reality is that the secondary, as a unit, is getting torched by crappy to average QBs all over the field…and they are doing it mostly on quick release 3 step drops due to respect for the DL, which makes it twice as bad.

I'd rather keep Morrow on the field than Cunningham.

New drinking game. Everytime they reference Taylor Swift tonight, chug a beer. Every video pan to her box is a shot. Ryan Reynolds sighting is an optional addition.
