Ricks is slower than Jobe and less experienced and was ahead of Ringo in the PS.  McLauren had 86 yards on 8 of 10.  Not a horrible result for slay.  Dotson was 4 of 9.

So are you saying "we're fine there"?

Yup. I was told that literally anyone off the street would be better than Siposs. But Mann has actually been worse. The biggest surprise yesterday was that Tress Way was bad. He's usually one of the best in the league. He consistently hits bombs against us.

Maybe he was punting with his right foot to make it competitive.  Kind of like the sword fight in Princess Bride.

I have you down for "We sack the QB one more time than he got sacked last week"

You have to read between the lines.

Get well soon, Cam. No IR is good though. Sounds like only a couple weeks absence.

They said the MRI confirmed their suspicions.  Last night, the suspicions were that he's fine and had a sprain.  He may miss 1-2-3 weeks, but it sounds like this isn't a big injury.  Of course, we've seen players miss a year and a half with weird poorly explained injuries (Mack Hollins), but this seems like one that will resolve itself.

Yeah let's trade for Claypool so he can be 4th or 5th in targets.  Then he'll complain we aren't using him correctly.

Chiefs don't have any good WRs.  They are all OK to solid.  If he is as good as he thinks than he should have no issue being the top guy there.

He'll have the best QB and offensive coach.  No excuses if he doesn't succeed.

Sirianni said the reason Hurts has been sliding early is because the coaches are getting on him to not get hit.

I think it's having an adverse effect, honestly.

Nah.  In the NFCCG, Hurts was getting brought down by a couple of DBs.  Nothing too dangerous there, until Greenlaw came in and nailed Hurts in the back as he was going down.

We need him to be available all season.

We might need to score 35 on Sunday

I hope I’m wrong but i actually think the rams have a good chance at beating the eagles on Sunday. I’m surprised that line is 5.5. I don’t think the rams are great but they are a team that can exploit a lot of the eagles issues defensively. And offensively down jurgens could be an issue with Donald.

Andy Harmon was going to be out only for a week or two with a minor knee injury and he never played another game, ever. And pretty much the same thing happened with Chris T. Jones. Tweaked his knee. No big deal. Career over instead.

We saw the Eagles deal with Parsons effectively by leaving him unblocked.  I remember seeing Chip run a read-option where he left the DT unblocked.  Just a thought.

It is. Its clear thats what Hurts has been doing. And I have no problem with that. But then, he cant be keeping it as much. And some of them look like called runs. But a bunch are not. He cant decide to keep it and not run hard.

Rams have a better pass D than Run D. Even without Jurgens, should be a "run the ball" week.

I think the bigger issue for me in that rams game is their offense vs. our defense. if kupp is back and the rams have 3 good WRs. Atwell and puka are pretty good. And they are also now incorporating higbee into the offense more. The eagles need to get pressure and bring Stafford down. If not the rams are gonna be able to put up points on the eagles. I’d argue if kupp is healthy, the rams offense is likely the best the eagles have faced all year.

If Colts can play with Rams no excuse we can’t

Claypool is actually a guy I could see the Eagles bringing in.  Big, fast, athletic, and dirt cheap.  He had two pretty good years in PIT, then ..... the Bears.  He thinks he's a better player than he actually is, but this locker room would be able to sort him out.

Not advocating for it, but I wouldn't be shocked.

I don't think we need to fear those scenarios.  The fact that he's not going on IR...I bet he's out 2 weeks.

I’d be shocked if the Chiefs don’t go after him, tbh.

This video of DJ Reed just makes me laugh. Going like full speed and just like whoops

I really don't want him there.

Gonna get a Robin to their Batman of toney of underperforming headcase WRs

Stafford hurt his hip Sunday.  Normally Id say we'd get after him but we'll probably just watch him throw uncontested 8 yard passes all game before our DL gets home

I didn't mean to suggest I was fearful about the injury to Jurgens. But I enjoy the historical aspect of being a lifelong Eagles fan and I often make references just to hopefully put things into perspective.

That particular play was more of a mistake by the defender, but Mahomes is one of the most elusive QBs in NFL history.  Guys like Vick, Randal, Lamar Jackson...and many others...were far more dangerous at chewing up yardage and being weapons downfield.  Mahomes isn't as fast as any of them in a straight line.  But his combination of near-field vision while going through progressions, foot work, and phone booth athleticism are just brutal for rushers trying to get sacks.  He's Vick-like in eluding rushers.
