This is a fun time to revisit the "pay RB’s more money” debate during TC. Since then, the main players involved

- Barkley - Hurt, already missed multiple games

- Jacobs - Averages 2.6 YPC which is up from his 1.8 before yesterdays game.

- Pollard - getting grinded into the ground at a pace he’s never seen before in his career and likely will be in a position soon as the other 3 guys.

Our passing game is still inconsistent. We would be in really rough shape is Swift didnt mostly carry the offense for us in the previous two games. 

If Swift werent around, Gainwell wouldnt have had near the same results and we might be 2-2 right now. Maybe worse- we may not have wone last night either even though Hurts made enough good plays, Swift had a big part in some of the 1st half successful drives. And the swing pass to him in the 2nd half for a 1st down was big as well.

Its a vitally important position, and its not one where we could succeed with just plugging in any guy. I dont know how you commit big money to a known injury prone player like Swift. But he should rightfully be earning himself some money. And outside of his own pay, he is showing us the value of an elite player at the position.

The other side of the argument is how many times are you going to hit lightning in a bottle with a guy like Swift?   And getting him at a bargain price, team friendly deal?

How different would this team be right now with just Gainwell, Penny and Scott (who’s also been hurt)?

More evidence why it needs to be outlawed.  Too unfair when only Eagles can convert it.

Jake from State Farm put me over the top. That had nothing to do with TS. It was really weird that he was at both games with her. It just seems way too forced and fabricated now.
