Getting psyched for the playoffs.

F***. Here's hoping we have the #1 seed on lock by Week 17 so we can tank the last game to give them a win.

Yeah. Carolina might actually not win more than 3 games looking at their schedule. At lions, at Miami, bye, vs. Houston, vs. colts, at bears, vs. Dallas, at titans, at Bucs, at saints, vs. atlanta, vs. Gb, at jags and at tampa. Really good chance it’s gonna come down to the bears (with Carolina’s pick), Arizona, Denver and giants. Possibly Vikings if they actually deal cousins. Frankly the raiders should just start O’Connell and if they suck they get Williams. They won’t cause they signed Jimmy g so instead they’ll go 6-11 and be stuck in purgatory

The Eagles have won 21 of their last 22 regular-season games (.957) started by Jalen Hurts. Since 2021, Hurts’ .765 winning percentage (26-8) leads all NFL QBs.

The Washington line actually did quite well against him.

Tough to know how things would have gone. When the Lions drafted Gibbs that almost certainly triggered a lot of teams to call them about Swift’s availability.

If that doesn’t happen, I think the eagles probably look for a RB in the 3rd or 4th. To give an example, Achane went after we selected both Steen and Brown. He was the guy I wanted if we couldn’t get Gibbs in the draft, and has a similar skill set to both Swift and Gibbs.

I think that would have worked out OK.

I'm interested to see how Keaton Mitchell does with the Ravens.   Achane, Swift and Mitchell were the 3 fastest RBs,   in the 43s.  None are power backs, all in theory could line up in the slot, possibly paired with an excellent power back.  Like what was normal for so long in the NFL.  Have a guy who is either in a running back spot or the slot.  And a big running back, who would have been called a Fullback back when Jim Brown was a Fullback - his whole career.  Many of the top runners up through the 70s were fullbacks.   I don't know what's right necessarily for the Eagles but some team should be able to look at the surplus of running backs and think power back, big back, fullback plus smaller faster back who can run routes from the slot.  If the Eagles had one of these really fast rbs, they could have them taking snaps from Quez or OZ.   There were some conversations here about whether the Eagles should add a piece of speed, and quite a few wanted Achane, but very few thought he would be drafted in the first round.   I thought that the Eagles could use a piece of top speed on the offense,  a weapon who could be used to run or catch passes.

I see he provided the pressure that cause the near interception in the end zone.

Huge missed opportunity for the defense, could have completely changed the course of the game.

Daniel Jones is buns. We all know this.

but holy crap, Brian Daboll has not helped him AT ALL. Why not call more quick passes? Why not have the TEs chip the ends or leave the rbs in to block? He’s pretty much left jones in there to die and said "figure it out on your own”.

oh well. Giants are trash. Good luck in the future you bums.

If the Giants are having such a difficult time scoring points at all, and it seems like that is the case, it's time to bring up Tyree Jackson from the practice squad and let him rip.  If Tyree Jackson is on the Eagles, the Eagles already have more than enough players for the targets and the carries they have to go around.  The Eagles are winning with what they're doing.  70%+ of the receiving yards are Brown and Smith,  50%+ of the rushing yards are Swift and Hurts is a great short yardage rusher.   Almost no team sticks with the same players as much as the Eagles do.  So there really wouldn't be targets for Tyree with the Eagles.

With the Giants, they're not scoring points.  Put Tyree at QB and have him either run or throw 60 yard bombs.  There might be mistakes, turnovers,  but they'd get some points from big plays.  More than 3.  Put him out there with Waller.  2 similar TEs,  Tyree a little bigger and a little slower, but both tall, thin, fast for TEs.  The Giants should test to see if Tyree Jackson can throw long passes to Darren Waller with sufficient accuracy.  There really wasn't a spot for Tyree Jackson on the Eagles but there does seem to be at least one on the Giants.  6'7 250 4.59 40 should be good enough for pass protection from the RB/FB spot.  Have someone back there to keep Daniel Jones from getting sacked over and over again.  Tyree was a pretty good inline blocking TE,  good enough to think he'd be useful as a RB at pass blocking.

If Edmunds doesn't have hands of stone, that should have been a routine INT.

God I can't wait to see him replaced.

He may be the worst defender out there.

I’ve felt this guy was the most overrated QB in football. Dude is STILL living off his 2015 season

Quite well? Not really.

Oh my God. Carter hit the Washington LG with a spin move on that third and 17 completion to Pringle. All he could do was fall over and trip up Carter. What a move.

Bradberry was THIS close to a PBU too. Have to give Howell credit. He made some *great* throws where an inch off is a PBU.

Yeah I knew that. Just interesting that Donna is in the limelight and the father stays out of the limelight. Heck, I would be the same way as the father.

Looks like he watched a video on getting cinematic shots with his go pro.

The Gints are regressing to their norm - you can see how far they are from teams like the Chiefs, Dolphins, Bills, etc.  Drafting Barkley that high as deprived them of a player who can make a longer term difference.  Jones is a brain dead QB. Etc

And I love it.

He definitely came back to earth on those rushes.  He spent a lot of time on the ground and some of those double teams left one OL standing around not needing to do anything.  But he still showed burst and broke through a few times.

If that's Carter on a "bad" day as a rookie, we are in good shape.  But he certainly wasn't as effective as the last 3 weeks.

If you watch morrows sack it's caused by carter. He takes two guys with him which leads a wide open lane for morrow. Impressive

I don't know what the locker room is like, but this feels like one of those rare football teams where the kicker becomes part of the fabric of the team.

Still lots of good there from Carter. Even eats up doubles routinely. Great screen awareness

did look like they found a flaw in his balance and ripped him down to the ground several times. Needs to watch that move.
