Bradberry was THIS close to a PBU too. Have to give Howell credit. He made some *great* throws where an inch off is a PBU.

Yeah we literally got his and the Commanders A game.  Can’t be a great feeling for Rivera…he knows his team played to their absolute potential and still lost to a team that wasn’t doing the same

It's awesome that Philly has 2 really exciting teams right now.  The Eagles are the cream of the crop, but the Phillies are building a great winning culture too.

The Flyers are in an extended stage of irrelevance, so nothing to see there.

76ers...that's the real tough one.  They have tough times ahead.

When you get the best game of the season from the opposing QB every week, it eventually says something about your defense.

Put Tyree at QB and have him either run or throw 60 yard bombs.

I have to ask ... did you watch the game? That line can't block long enough for clean 5 yard passes.

They finally did the right thing and started from the ground.  Whether it works or not is yet to be determined but this was the only way for them to ever have a chance in the future.  I am back on their wagon because at least they are trying to correct all the stuff they messed up over the last 10 years.

Sadly they should’ve started this years ago. And unfortunately fletcher trying to save his job put them in a worse spot last offseason with the moves he made. He should’ve been fired then and started the completely rebuild then.

Totally agree.  Every year I would say they are a 1 year away from being a year away.  I stopped watching them the last two years, not because they sucked but because they were doing the same things over and over.  The year we lucked into the 2nd pick of the draft, was one of the worst drafts ever.  Lucky us.

Jalen Carter had six pressures Sunday. That’s a great game regardless of him going to the ground a bunch.

They took Nolan Patrick and the next 3 guys all became really good players. 4for4 and I had this convo back in 2018 that they should’ve traded G then along with the other guys who had value. It wasn’t trade G cause we didn’t like him or that he wasn’t great. It was they weren’t winning a cup with the roster around him and committing more to it wasn’t going to change it. So maximize his trade value and get a kings ransom to rebuild the entire organization.

I just meant the top of the draft did not have generational talent like drafts prior and after.  I wanted to trade G a while back also.  Frankly, I find him one of the most overrated Flyers of all time.  Besides that one season later in his Flyers tenure, he was just ok or not great for the second half of his career.

The painful irony is they finally have pretty good goaltending.  Brink looks like he has earned a spot.  Very confident and skilled on the PP at the circle and can really see the ice.  He has  20 goal, 45-50 assist potential.  Good to see Couts back on the ice as well.

Pretty good, I agree.  He makes spectacular saves but lets in too many soft ones.

Pretty sure hart is getting dealt at some point. It’ll be painful if they deal him and he reaches his potential elsewhere. Even more painful if that happens and we get stuck in a goalie purgatory like we had for a long time

They should deal him and get a haul.  Build this core with as many young assets as possible.

October in the city has been pretty damn cool the past two years.

Think there’s a potential blows up in your face dynamic to it is why it’s a tougher decision to make. Frankly in a better build team and better run franchise i think hart winds up looking a lot better than he has here.

Technically they should do that and get a boatload for him to help the rebuild. But even if you do that but struggle to find a franchise goaltender then you could find yourself being the early 2000s flyers. good teams but goaltending that let them down nearly every year when it mattered. they were stuck in goalie purgatory. If you make that trade you better be damn sure on the prospects you get back, capitalize on those picks and find that goaltender. cause if hart goes elsewhere and thrives and you get stuck in a goalie purgatory for years it’s a tough pill to swallow.

Interesting for upcoming game since Eagles and Rams are neck and neck in these stats.

Still lots of good there from Carter. Even eats up doubles routinely. Great screen awareness

did look like they found a flaw in his balance and ripped him down to the ground several times. Needs to watch that move.

I counted 2 or 3 times.

Always thought it was kind of funny how people would dismissively say "it’s a rugby play” without consulting the guy who actually played rugby.

The biggest middle finger to everyone would be the eagles winning a Super Bowl on the last play of the SB using the brotherly shove.
