I have a weird feeling it’s gonna be either Rhys hoskins or chase utley tonight

Don't know if it's possible, but it would be HUGE

Like it was said earlier, if we can get average play out of Roby, that’s a huge win. Bradberry has been fine in the slot, and Jobe has been mostly fine, but Bradberry can be exceptional outside. Getting him back there full-time should be a big help, as will having some form of continuity up the middle, where it’s been a revolving door at slot, LB and S.

Never give up inside leverage near the goal line. Ever.

You want both Bradberry and Jobe outside? Who plays the slot? We were down to a safety playing there. Further, Bradberry in the slot was for matchup purposes, not as a permanent change of position.

Finally, here's the play: The ball's in the air (red circle). Jobe has perfect coverage on Dotson (yellow circle). Edmunds is doing nothing (blue circle). Dotson pushed off on the play but no zebra is going to call it. Still further, Jobe lined up square to Dotson, neither inside nor outside. I can put up a shot of that if you like.

Sometimes, even with perfect coverage, the WR wins. We see it with AJ Brown over and over.

I think you're giving Jobe a bad rap.

You give up inside leverage on the goal line when there are two guys in the Inside.

Like I said if that's the way it's being coached that's stupid, if the DB has inside help there's zero reason to give up the outside which led to a TD.

If jobe had played outside leverage he would have forced the WR to the two defenders on the inside or would have been in position to make a play on the outside throw. Is it really necessary to devote 3 guys to one area if the field And leave the outside totally uncovered?

Either bad coaching or miscommunication.

I'm going with the latter Jobe had to know his responsibility in the called coverage is outside zone.

Was just such an easy throw and catch  from the get go Jobe was playing so Inside then continued to stay inside even though all his help was there, he was beat before the snap.

I've watched the play he wasnt squared up, his outside foot was on Dotson Inside foot by alot, the commentators in the replay mentioned it and showed it and circled it.

Wasn't perfect coverage, it was really bad coverage from the get go, I dont think doctson pushed off anymore than any receiver does

I think you are giving Jobe too much credit.

As for nickel corner

Replacing the nickel with whoever only weakens one position, taking bradberry from the outside and putting him at nickel and replacing him with Jobe on the outside weakens two positions

Now instead of just worrying about being weak at nickel one has to worry about outside corner because what was once a strength in bradberry in the outside has been mFe weaker by putting Jobe there

Bradberry isnt a nickel, he's looked pretty bad there.

Like I said out him back on the outside find a nickel, I don't care if he sucks at least the d will only be weak at nickel instead of weak at nickel and outside

Watkins hit playing time escalators in the last 3 years so he costs almost $3M this year.

Didnt know that, still everything I said I stick by.

My thinking behind it being hoskins is tomorrow he goes down to Clearwater to work out with the stay ready team. So he’s not gonna be with the team for the rest of the run until he’s ready to return.

This is the 2nd time I've seen you bring up Travis Fugem. Where is all of this OZ hype coming from that you're seeing? I'm just not seeing it. He gets like 1 pass a game if that.

It was in reply to the poster that said OZ has played well enough that trading Watkins shouldnt be an issue, then saying OZ was better.

Like I said OZ has 3 catches in 4 games a TD and a drop.

If Watkins had those same numbers over that same time eagles would be running him out of town again, but OZ does it and that equals he's playing great???

Eagles fans put the F in fanatic.

Looks like the coaches might be done with the bradberry at nickel And Jobe at outside failed experiment.

Hopefully this move means bradberry back to the outside where he's really good

You should probably let the Watkins stuff go until he gets back on the field and proves his worth.

Only part i dislike is having realmuto bat 5th. I get why they had to put him 5th or 6th. But he hasn’t hit well at home nor with RISP this year. Maybe it changes in the postseason but it’s been an issue all year.

All he needs ia the standing O... Charlie Brown Christmas tree style.

Issue is if they had marsh in the lineup hitting 8th then you’d have stott, marsh, Rojas and then schwarber when that part of the lineup comes up. Which is 3 out of 4 lefties. The marlins have a lefty heavy pen. I agree i rather have marsh playing. I trust him more than pache. Although pache was good before the injury. Since the start of September he’s hitting .114 with obp of .262

Yeah... I get it.  But, it is also Pache vs Marsh in the lineup.  Marsh has been pretty clutch all year... Pache... not so much.  But Marsh in the lineup pushes Harper to 3, Stott to 5 or 6 and Marsh at 7 or 8, to break up the lefties.   I get it, but I don't like it.   I just hope Pache shuts me up and goes 3 for 4.

I agree, as I didnt bring it up

Good timing as long as he works out. Hopefully putting in another veteran will resolve a lot of the weird communication issues.

Here's the play a little earlier. Jobe is NOT playing leverage to either side. He's squared up on Dotson (green circle). My point about Edmunds in my earlier post is that he does nothing to help. Edmunds is too deep. In fact, the Eagles are triple covering the inside receiver (yellow circle). You talk about inside help but there is NO inside help. As it happens, if you look at the preceeding play, Jobe is also squared up on Dotson.

I disagree with your view heartily but you are welcome to it.

It would be.   I hope he's healthy enough for that, but have a hard time believing that.  But, just a wave to the crowd from the owner's box would be equally huge for the crowd to get whipped up.

There's no limit to the magic of the standing O.  One per game should get it done perfectly.

If Devonte Adam’s becomes available, what will be the asking price?
