Here's the play a little earlier. Jobe is NOT playing leverage to either side. He's squared up on Dotson (green circle). My point about Edmunds in my earlier post is that he does nothing to help. Edmunds is too deep. In fact, the Eagles are triple covering the inside receiver (yellow circle). You talk about inside help but there is NO inside help. As it happens, if you look at the preceeding play, Jobe is also squared up on Dotson.

I disagree with your view heartily but you are welcome to it.

Edmunds doesn't look good out there to me.

Don't be surprised if the Eagles sign Bradley Roby.  Call it a feeling

If you look at the view that was shown on TV where it was a view from behind doctson it clearly showed Jobe with his outside foot lined up between doctson showing inside leverage which is exactly how i was taught way back in highschool to line up on a wR as the sideline is a DBs friend, i have zero problem lining up inside the problem i have is how far inside he was pre snap as the commentators showed on replay and how he fell for the inside  feign when the help whether it got there or not was meant to  be there  and  he should know  he has   inside help  yet he still  jumps inside and  totally  gives  up  the  outside for   an easy td, just unacceptable.

This is a pretty unbelievable play by Correa

Let me know when the fluid situation has solidified.

It's like jello, does it ever truly solidify?

Yup.  I was about to say 'terrible baserunning play by Bichette', but it's hard to fault him when Correia was standing at the normal SS position.

I'm just always happy when the Blow Jays are losing.

If Devonte Adam’s becomes available, what will be the asking price?

Free Taco Bell for life?

He's not a #1, but Bo Wulf threw out Quez and a 6th for Chinn.

Would you do that or nah? Would need to add a WR elsewhere for depth.

When you leave things in the fridge as long as I do.. anything can happen

I'd absolutely do that. First, losing Wallace would be a plus. Second, see reason 1. Third, they need help back there and he could fill in at a few spots with injuries being a problem.

They should make a move at WR regardless

They should trade for DJ Moore

It would be.   I hope he's healthy enough for that, but have a hard time believing that.  But, just a wave to the crowd from the owner's box would be equally huge for the crowd to get whipped up.

I doubt it since he started PT just last week

1. He doesn’t jump inside.

2. There is no inside help.

3. He’s right on the receiver.

Love how all the beat writers tweeted "Roby needs to get in game shape” within a 1 minute span. Totally coincidental.

I just got the alert on my Phone.  Howie made a move on Defense?  That was quick.

Your biggest issue with the suggestion is the time the OL would need to block?

It's not like anybody is going to change his mind about freakbeasts.

Not a baseball fan (except the once per century occasion with the Cubs), but I wish all the blog Phillies fans good luck!

Quez sucks, would do that trade in a heartbeat
