Eagles control their own deatiny to win the division with 2 games against the Cowobya and already up 1 game.

And the Eagles also control their own destiny to win the #1 seed with a game against the niners at home.

F them Cowboys!

It's funny how they brought in Wilson only to suck and now rumored to be in discussions to trade his weapons lol

Let's play some Madden here with the trade talks.

If I'm Howie, I'm on the phone with the Panthers offering one of the Eagles 2nd round picks for Brian Burns. The Panthers don't have a 1st this year so giving them an extra 2nd might be more enticing on their end. They need draft capital.

If they balk at a 2nd, I'm going Eagles 1st and Quez Watkins for Brian Burns and Jeremy Chinn.

Quez and a 5th for Burns

Gotta be a d-linemen and a 5th. Those are the TATE rules.

Then let's go with Barnett

First quarter grades.

QB

B

As much as we criticize, he still makes plays.  We’ll need an A performance going forward.

RB

A

Swift is driving this.

WR

A

Complaining on the sideline aside, Brown is a stud.  Smith is great.  Who really cares about what #3 does?

TE

B

Goedert is getting open.  The ball just isn’t going his way.  Also not seeing a TE screen once a game either.  His and Stoll’s blocking are a big part of their rushing success.

OL

A

You see the rushing success, don’t you?  You see the sneak success, don’t you?

DL

B

Top 5 rushing defense.  Despite continuous pressure on the QB, still need to see more from the edges.  (It would be DT=A and DE=B, if I had split them up.)

LB

C

Yet this grade still exceeds expectations.  They’ve been solid going downhill.  Can’t cover to save their lives, though.

DB

C

Lots of injuries.  No cohesion.  An exploitable weakness.  Not good.

ST

B

Elliot is the best.  Covey is a weapon.  Punting is an annoyance.

Sorry, but I'm REALLY hoping that someone argues against this point because that pick doesnt come with a 5 year option.  You know, just so I can watch an internet monkey knife fight.

A real RTK moment calling out the fair weather fans

The 76ers would be proud.

Then I guess Brown will play the slot. I think they will definitely move Bradberry back outside. Kupp and/or Nacua are too small and shifty for him in there.

Do you mean Tutu? Kupp and Nacua are both 6'2"

For those of us who play DFS, hot tip:  Figure out who Forbes will be matched up with and start them.

With the bears being a complete disaster this season, wonder what the likely hood could be that we kick the tires on Eddie Jackson? He could very well end up cut, but I’d take a flyer on him for a 6-7 round pick. He’s had some injury issues so he fits the Howie mold perfectly. When healthy though the guy can play and would be an upgrade to Evans and Edmunds.

Interesting idea.

I think a B for Hurts so far is being generous and a tad biased. He's still got rust going into week 5

Swift is definitely driving. The run game will take a dip if he gets injured

Agreed about the rest

Welcome to the Blog.

Just saying i mentioned this idea last week along with potentially going after jaylon Johnson who’s a FA at the end of the year and the bears made no headway on his extension. Eagles had interest in him in his draft.

Washington passed on Christian Gonzalez for a very obvious ESP sized bust.

Pffft .... if Freeman didn't whiff in pass pro the Pats never would have made that comeback.
