Exactly.  Works out almost perfectly.

If it gets to a game 4, I’d probably go Sanchez through the lineup once. Then use ranger out of the pen. Maybe piggy back walker and strahm  with sanchez

If its Nola at CBP... I feel good about it against the Braves.   And frankly, I feel good about Ranger in Game 1 on the road.   That guy has no pulse on the mound.  Same with Wheeler.   Would be hard to believe that Game 3 could be for a sweep at CBP... but yeah, I feel like it's possible.    Phillies are turning the low smolder into a raging fire at just the right time.  And they still have another gear to hit offensively.

I think that’s a tad optimistic but I love it.

I agree that Ranger is a guy with minimal home/road delta.  So might as well throw him in Atlanta.

Game 4 will be an interesting situation... but hey, let's just take it in 3.  ;)

That's huge for Kerkering...  and the bullpen moving forward.

That kid is awesome

I have no idea how these pitches are going to break on tv.  Must really suck in the batters box.

I’m already nervous about the Braves series

It's that time of year...

Seems like it's almost time to add Harper to that wall somewhere.  This is the year.

Braves are really good. I suspect it’s gonna be a series that goes the distance.

frankly the dodgers could be in a world of trouble. It’s set up that Kelly can pitch games 1 and 4 and gallen games 2 and 5. That’s ridiculous in a 5 game series you’d face those two 4 times. And the dodgers don’t have the great pitching they’ve had in past years.

Orion has some nasty stuff

They are.   They were really good last year too.    And we took it in 4.  ;)   This year, the Phillies are better.  :flex:

Not to be lost in all this... The Phillies did this without Marsh in the lineup, because of the lefties from the Marlins.   This lineup will get BETTER in the Braves series.

strider wasn’t healthy heading into the playoffs and they lost Albies too. It’s gonna be an epic series. Could argue it’s the two best teams in the NL if nola pitches like he did tonight. Both teams can hit. Feels like whoever gets better starting pitching to protect the bullpen is gonna win the series.

I feel like 7 game series favor pitching and 5 game series favor the hot lineups.

Depends on how your rotation sets up. Like dbacks are gonna get gallen and Kelly pitching up to 4 times. That series is gonna come down tk if the dodgers can hit kelly and gallen.

They are definitely the two best.   Phillies played the first two months with one arm behind their back.

I don't want to hear about the Braves and their 'struggles' last year or whatever.   We had basically a 2, maybe 3 man bullpen.  So... we were short handed too.

Gonna be epic, and we are gonna prevail.  Just like last year.

Fried having a blister could actually swing things for the Phillies more. Cause Morton is also out.

Phillies bullpen issues last year was reslly our own fault cause the Phillies missed on their FAs. Like Familia.

I agree.   But, they were bad.   And Harper was limited to just the DH role, meaning Schwarber had to play the field.  That wasn't the plan going in to the year by a long shot.

This year is different.

LET'S GO!!!!   1 series down.  3 to go, 11 wins more.    Get it done!

So the Phillies have the clear best home field advantage in baseball - since we’re the best at that too, how long until some talking head is whining about our fans being too loud and trying to ban rally towels or something

this team cant get josh bell out

11 wins to go
