Is Julio Jones still out there? 😄

Feel like he'd be better than Toney.

I'm pretty sure Tony Danza would be better

He might be right damn

Not fun watching CJGJ make plays for another team.

The Chiefs lost that more than the Lions won it.

I give credit to the lions. That’s a game in the past they probably find a way to lose and lions it up. Especially after the bad 4th down call that gave the chiefs the ball at near midfield down 1.

That said, I came away really unimpressed with a Lions offense. Outside of 2 drives and the 3 plays to get the first they really weren’t very good against a team down its best defensive player. Credit again they made plays down the stretch to win it but their offense scoring 14 points is something they had issues with last year on the road. Just so happens tonight their defense got a pick 6 so it was enough.

Think Chiefs take the step back this year that they were supposed to take last year without Tyreek. Peeps gunning for 'em this year. Hard to repeat. They will be a wildcard team. Chargers win that division. Especially after they lose to the Jags next week on the road.

What happened to Hutchinsons mom?

Said this at the start of free agency — the Chiefs lost a lot of talent.  Hardman, JuJu, Wylie, Orlando Brown, Thornhill.  I don’t think they did a great job replacing a lot of those guys.  Add in No Kelce and no Chris Jones tonight, and the result isn’t shocking.

If Kelce and Jones had been in the lineup tonight it’s likely the Chiefs win.  It’s also fair to say they might have an uphill climb to try to home field advantage in this year’s AFC playoffs.  I still see them winning their division, though.

Wow, that was a shocker.  I know Travis and Jones aren't there but the Chiefs offense didn't look too hot.   Remember the "Hangover" can happen to winners and losers.  Cincy survived the "Hangover", Rams did not.   The guys better not get caught sleeping, everyone will be gunning for the Birds too.

The Chiefs will probably be fine. No one in that division has proven anything. Yeah the Chargers added Moore, but Staley is still the coach and that dude has been terrible so far. The Chiefs may not be the #1 seed this year, though. Hell, they probably wouldn't have been last year if not for the Hamlin thing.

Still surprised the Chiefs didn't find a way to fit Hopkins.

Eagles gonna dominate this week.

Their arch nemesis looks human.

Time to start a dynasty.

Not saying Chargers are amazing. Hell of a tough schedule for Chiefs tho. Broncos won't be a doormat this year. Thinking 11-6. At best. Leaning towards 10-7 especially if Jones is out a few games. Margin for error is just so small now with the talent lost on this team the last couple of years. Lot of young guys and new guys in key positions. Lions should have won that game handily, but made some key errors and had some bad play calls to keep it close. Ran the clock out or could have won by 8.  Played well though for a 1st game and a hostile environment.

That's ergly.

You look at guys like Reagor and Toney and you love their potential, but they don't have "greatness" in them. A team would literally be better off with Greg Ward --- a guy that can run routes and dependably catch the ball even in clutch situations. Ward isn't going to do much after the catch, but with an accurate QB, you're moving the chains. It's crazy that he's on a PS while Toney is starting a game.

Lemme guess. Most people were rooting for the Lions tonight even though they're an NFC team that could battle us for playoff seeding and there could be a time later in the season where we're rooting like hell for the Lions to lose games. Meanwhile it doesn't matter one bit to us what the Chiefs record at the end of the year is. They're either in the Super Bowl or they're not. Winning extra regular season games wouldn't impact the Eagles at all.

Am I right?

Are you worried about what you saw from the Lions? I'm not. I hope they get to the playoffs and we play them.

I'll admit it, I'm petty. I didn't watch the game, but I just looked at the final score and...

I actually wanted the chiefs to win for the reason that the lions are in the nfc. Frankly I think they win their division and they play the nfc south. Their schedule is not very hard. This was arguably their toughest game (maybe dallas or baltimore on the road). The lions offense at home and on the road is a stark difference. So I’d like to have seen them lose so if you run into them in the playoffs they have to come to Philly and not in the dome.

Lions are a nice team and improving. But they got Jared Goff at QB. He's not even Kirk Cousins. No problems there. Chiefs are the team to knock off and them losing as much as possible is good. You never wanna face Pat Mahomes in a 1 game match-up. Although I would love to beat him, the same way I enjoy beating Brady.  Don't want home field for them. They could be dangerous later in the year, regardless.
