Note to Sirianni: Apparently third and long inside handoffs are an automatic 7 yards against Washington, not slow off-tackle runs.

.Bears looking like the 85 Bears tonight, Butkus smiling down.  Also they did the brotherly shove/tush push like 2 times tonight.  Cleary the play is taking Football by storm. As for Washington.  It was a short week after a Division bloodbath in Philly.  They are looking a little flat.

2 notes on the game tonight:

1, refs are point shaving again tonight, No way that's not a textbook PI in the end zone,. They stole 4 points from the Bears. It does not matter if the Bears win by X. The refs are cheating for the Commanders for the 2nd week in a row. Maybe 6 billion also buys you some refs?

2, That useless zero integrity PoS Al Michaels was cheering with euphoria over a Bears OT shoving the RB forward 5 yards... after preaching against the QB sneak shove.

Football is a mess right now. Betting is fixed (or at least not fair) and the broadcasts are obsessed with football teams playing football while hurting feelings about shoves.

DJ Moore is currently on pace for 16 catches, 504 yards and 4 TDs

You either have him or you’re going against him in fantasy. Aren’t you sir?

Wtf got into the bears

Well Howell isn’t good, and if you’d disrupt his first read he looks bad. Something Desai refuses to do, and let them play pitch and catch for 3.75 quarters. Bears are moving their safeties all around, their LBs are having different assignments and falling off during the play. They’re not all 8 yards off and waiting for the offense to have the ball before they make a decision

Howell might not be good. The bears defense is the worst in the league and down starters. The int is on howell but before that it goes to the fact mclaurin nor Dotson have really not been their first read on offense. It’s been guys like Thomas and Samuel. You can see it when they snap the ball neither Dotson or mclaurin is howell’s first read. On the interception Logan thomas was. The bears can do anything they want but if you aren’t going to attempt to make your best playmakers the focal point of your offense and first reads then you are losing the game before you start.

let me point out it’s kind of been that way week one, week three and now this week. The one week where they started really targeting Terry McLaurin was last week. We can stay desai gave it to them. Fine but if you are gonna give mclaurin 1, 4, 6 and 6 targets the other weeks he can’t give you enough to make your offense competent. This would be like the equivalent of the Eagles only throwing it to AJ Brown 5 times in the game. It’s not nearly enough for how much of a playmaker he is.

this game just shows how both our coordinators are struggling putting the talent in position to succeed

Washington no showed today. They had an overtime game 4 days ago. It happens. Has no reflection on our game.

It's nice to hear another team getting booed every now and then.

Bad night to start Commanders D in Hunt's league.

Eff.

Plus it was a division game, doesn't matter who sucks the most. The eagles and Washington games are almost always close no matter what.

This.  DC gave everything on Sunday and they did not get up for this game.

The Eagles should have beaten DC + Refs by 14 anyway but this is the worst version of DC on short rest after their Super Bowl.

You miss them killing each other basically

Watch MMA

Not at all. I miss football being football rather than football being entertainment. A player literally died on the field last year so that find of thought process can go right out the door.

A Night Train Lain close line sure looks more violent, but both hits Edmunds made last week were 10x as violent as any of his intentional neck shots and he's a JAG whereas NTL is a HOF player. Yea, there were dirty players like Conrad Dobler and guys like Lester Hayes who wore so much stickum I'm surprised he still has skin left but these guys were flat out warriors still working summer jobs.

Amazon Prime alternate cast for TNF. They have a camera that shows basically the whole field, and labels skill players on offense, has route lines for each one, and you can see the plays downfield, concepts, defensive shifts etc. Real football stuff.

Interesting.

So instead of choosing the normal broadcast if I scroll I can find it?

If the Eagles played every game as good as they could play,  they'd win every game against low and mid opponents by big margins.   And they'd put the biggest possible target on their back.   They're 4-0, and almost everyone, if not everyone,  thinks and expects that they have at least a bit in reserve.

Good things tend to happen when you throw it mclaurin’s way

I didn’t watch the Ohio St. game, but based on the box score he did fine. I don’t think WK has any step up in competition for the rest of the season.

You should check out Legette from SCAR, definitely a HWS guy that is up your alley.

edit: 3TDs for Corley before the half…

The OhSt game he did fine until the game started getting out of hand. Looked the part for the first quarter and a half or so.

I think the combine and senior bowl is going to be really important for him. If he tests well and shows in practice, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him selected in the 25-50 range.

Can the bears blow a 20+ point lead for the second week in a row?

Yeah it should be an option on the Amazon prime menu. Like the 3rd option, regular, Spanish, then this cast.

Hard to understand what Washington was thinking taking Forbes over Gonzalez.

They are also the ones last year that traded back 5 picks to miss Olave and Jameson, then picked Dotson. Bizarre.

YIKES
