Strider seems to have settled in so make him get into more 2-2 and 3-2 counts and try to get him out of the game.

Sounds crazy but  Trea Turner should consider trying bunt his way on cause I don’t think anybody’s really expecting that and he has the speed the beat it out and he hasn’t done it in a while. So he might catch them off guard and get himself the first and then you can get some chaos on the bases

Yeah, gotta be a little creative.    This game, the Phillies don't have the pitching advantage of the starters.   Games 2 & 3, the Phillies will have the advantage.  Back to the Braves for Game 4... but Strider will have the ghosts of last year in his head, I think.  And then Phillies will have the advantage again in Game 5.

 

 

That should get him to 3rd.

I’d have to look up Bohm’s numbers but when he hits cleanup and 3rd he’s not nearly as good as 5th. He’s hitting .182 and .253 in those spots. 5th he seems more comfortable hitting .277

Yeah, this seems early, but this explains Lorenzen on the roster... they are going to run through the bullpen a lot this series.   The off days gives Thomson that option.  But, I'm not a fan of this quick hook.
