The move to remove Suarez as early as they did was shocking... and it worked.  I still don't like it.

And while the offense didn't put up a lot of runs... they did enough and they kept the pressure on the Braves, especially with the running game. 

Massive win. Massive.

And... the Dodgers haven't played a game in a long time.   Seems like seeds 3 or 4 are the best place to be in the playoffs... as crazy as it may be to say.   Baseball is a very rhythmic game.  The rest seems to be throwing teams off.

Frankly kershaw is a choke artist in the playoffs. That 2020 run was the only time he was really clutch and it’s cause he wasn’t worn out cause they played 60 games. and he doesn’t have the same stuff he used too. The dbacks have better pitching so if they can get 5 or more runs it’s an uphill battle for the dodgers.

True, but the O's also lost... and last year, similar things happened last year too to the Braves and Dodgers.  The AL doesn't seem to be the same, as those teams had to keep battling for that last spot and the seeding.  The Astros were the only home team to win Game 1 (Dodgers are trailing right now), and they were the only one that was actually in a race to the finish line.   I think there's something to it.

Everyone was hating on this bullpen, they’re really good.

My issue with the orioles is i don’t think they are better than the rangers. Watched both rangers and orioles, rangers are a much more convincingly good team as they aren’t always in 1 run games. Orioles had 101 wins but the orioles are like the Vikings last year. They won a crapload of 1 run games and eventually you are gonna see that come back toward the mean and it did today. And they also had the most comebacks in the league. They have more wins but the rangers have as good of a lineup. Frankly it’s actually more consistent. and I’d argue a better rotation they just got teams like the mariners and Astros that are also really good. The blue jays and rays had a boatload of things like injuries or like Franco happen and they weren’t the same down the stretch. Orioles losing their closer makes the bullpens a push.

The Dodgers have always had this problem even before they ran into the Padres last year. The only year they really haven’t choked in the last 4 years was 2020. If they do this year it’s 4 out of 5. roberts should've been fired by now. 

I went back and watched the beginning of that game just to watch Kershaw get lit up. Worth it.

Trea Turner is a top 3 Shortstop in all of MLB.  That’s why he got the contract he received.  I know some don’t want to talk about WAR stats and what not…and that’s ok.  
 

Shortstop is the most difficult defensive position (not including pitcher & catcher).  To have a SS of his caliber with both defensive skills and excellent power hitting with amazing speed is truly special.

Nah.  That dude is a competitor.  He didn’t want to come out.   But I wouldn’t mind seeing him again either.    🤷🏻‍♂️

These damn Philly fans are everywhere. All jokes aside, what is with this as of late? I'm seeing more and more of dudes just unloading punch after punch on others who seem all but helpless.
