I understand the Rule.  What you are saying is that you are happy with a man on First and two outs.

With Stott coming to the plate, absolutely. If it was Pache or Rojas, I probably would be more indifferent about it.

It was a pretty egregious gaffe IMO.  Simply cannot run past 2nd base on a fly ball to center field with one out.  The whole play is in front of the base runner and he has to make the correct play there.  Deciding himself that he was going to try to score before he knew that the ball was going to land is an error on his part.

Regardless, you have to be able to get more than 90 pitches from your ace in a playoff game.  The two-run HR is on him, yet he still left with the lead.  Your 8th and 9th inning guys have to be shut down guys.  Madson and Lidge didn't blow those games in 2008.  Reid guessed at an off-speed pitch and golfed it out.  It wasn't a bad pitch aside from the fact the batter knew it was coming.

The Phillies still get two home games now to close it out and should (should) have a big advantage on the mound.

Sorry, I guess you didn't hear Nola is starting.

Jalen Hurts is inching closer this season to overtake Lamar Jackson as having the second highest win percentage among active QBs.

Mahomes 80.0%

Lamar 72.7%

Hurts 71.8%

Yeah ok. I don't see that happening.

He didn't guess.  He was fooled and STILL hit it out.

He passed Lamar Jackson for career playoff wins last year.

He pitched really well last playoff game, and he pitched really well last post-season... until fatigue caught up to him.   All this Nola hate is ridiculous.

We will just have to agree to disagree. If it weren’t the Playoffs or weren’t the Ninth inning I would agree with you, but it wasn’t.

Pretty sure the Braves were gonna pitch around stott who’s killed them to get to marsh who’s 0-6 and then Rojas 1-13 so far in the playoffs

Exactly! I shouldn't have bothered replying to that nonsense.

Y’all done arguing about how much Quez sucks? I mean, he sucks. I have eyes. Give his snaps to Zaccheus. Hell, give them to Covey. Bring Freddie Mitchell back and give them to him. All will be more productive. He’s not quick, he’s fast. He runs a nice go route but is afraid to go over the middle. He can’t catch. He’s not a slot receiver, nor should he be running screens.

Time to move on. Enjoy the bench.

Jalen Carter - 164 snaps, 62% double team rate.

Aaron Donald - 272 snaps, 60% double team rate.

100+ less snaps, same production.

The Reggie White comparison is warranted.

I’ll give credit where it’s due. Quez didn’t leave his feet to catch a screen pass. Progress.

And he actually caught the ball.

As requested.  Love the three worse coaches bit.

I can think of only two teams that would even consider it mid-season: the Jets and the Patriots.

She stole the second half of that bit from Tim Robinson.
