I kind of think if purdy doesn’t pan out for them this year that they are going hard after kirk cousins in the offseason. There was a report that the niners tried to trade for cousins when he was with the commanders. Wanted to give up the no. 2 pick for him

It was pretty bad. He told them he had a lump on his scalp and asked them to take care of it for 5 years. The trainers and team doctors said it was just a cyst and denied the surgery route every time. Once they realized it was actually a tumor there was concerns it metastasized through his skull. Luckily it didn’t, but I don’t blame him for being absolutely livid.

Yup. It’s why i said i rather just have Suarez as my no. 2 in the playoffs. Today is the exact reason why. As soon as things go wrong for Aaron Nola, he completely implodes and falls apart. With suarez and even Walker if things don’t go their way, they’re still going to battle. And they use limit the damage. The difference is Aaron Nola has one thing go wrong then it’s a huge inning. So unless he’s able to just not have any adversity throughout the game (cardinals game) he’s gonna implode at some point.

Yes... but his defense is still so good.  I can live with it.  Having a guy who can hit on the road is very valuable too.   Weird splits for him, but it is what it is.  I wouldn't trade him for a different catcher.
