The not punting doesn’t bother me as much as what the play call was on not punting. You still have a time out. So first off, you should try to draw Washington offsides with a hard count knowing you have the timeout to use anyways. When you use the timeout get your best play in there for 3 yards. They play they called eliminated half the field by having him roll out to that side. If you’re gonna go for it on the fourth and 3 and you have a timeout, then you better use it and get the best play you have available in your playbook to get it. I have a hard time believing that was the best play. 

Oregon going for it on 4th down was the right move.

30 yards of FP was not going to stop WAS from scoring, if anything they would have killed the clock.

Oregon play calling wasting a ton of time. Get at least the first down when throwing so clock stops. These 3 and 5 yards does nothing but waste time especially not getting out of bounds 

Oregon might actually have to let a kicker on the field.....

The one at the end of the half was dumb. The punting one wasn’t. The issue with the 4th and 3 is they still had a timeout in their pocket. You should’ve been trying to draw Washington offsides with a hard count  then use the timeout. Use the time out get a much better play into the game then what they ran. The play they called eliminated half the field. I don’t think that’s Oregon’s best play given that situation. Use your timeout there get the best play you have, and also try to draw Washington offsides. 

Prevent defense, prevents wins. How many times have we seen this? Yet DCs still do it.

That one.  And the next time down in the red zone, they went for it on 4th down too and came away with nothing.   They should have 6 extra points right now.    They did this to themselves by being stupidly aggressive.

Just kick the damn FG

 Oregon never even used the last timeout. So when going for it on fourth down to try to win the game, you could’ve tried to draw the Huskies offsides then call an timeout and get a better play to win the game. So you just give away a time out. Furthermore on the plays prior to the FG you can use the middle of the field to pick up yards having the timeout to make it a closer FG.

Well now we know why Oregon doesn't let their kicker on the field. In all seriousness, Oregon lost a game they should have won. Minus some stupid decisions. 

.  And that's why they chose not to kick the FGs earlier I guess.   Serves them right.

They are definitely the two best teams, but USC has a Kryptonian playing QB.

Oregon been playing good defense in the 2nd half.

Punt it and pin them deep in their own territory.  If they can drive 80-90 yards for a TD then so be it.  Don't give them a short field in that situation.

Usc still has Washington and Oregon. And on back to back weeks. At home vs. huskies then at Oregon. They also have utah but with how Utah’s Qb play is i don’t think they can stop usc enough to make up for that. Washington and Oregon have brutal schedules coming up. Oregon vs. Wazzu, at utah, vs. cal, vs. usc, at asu and vs. Oregon state. But they got the tougher games besides utah at home. Washington Washington has vs. asu and at Stanford. But November they have at usc, vs. utah, at Oregon state and vs Wazzu. Should be interesting. I could see Washington losing somewhere along that road but also usc and Oregon losing again
