Back in the day metcalfe gets killed on that, it was a lolipop, he caught it almost sitting on his ass, sydney isnt the longest guy but gotta go up and challenge that catch at its high point, not jump and wait for it to fall into your basket.

Nah make that man feel pain and have to sit out a play or two. He wasn't in position to high point that ball he was however in position to blast DK into next Sunday. I don't think any of us would have been upset about it. Would have been no different than when the 49ers lit up Swift at the end of the game.

Yeah that's a good point. I'd like to know if these deep passes on 3rd and short are by design or something Hurts is deciding. Either way they are quite bizarre and definitely drive killers.

And yes, Agholor and Reagor are both still in the league, both of them are disappointing the teams that they are with now for how poorly they do things.  Agholor was much better than either Reagor or Watkins by a wide margin, but still wasn't a guy to be counted on.

Last week people complained about why are they only throwing to three guys in the passing game? That to me wasn’t the thing to complain about. The thing to complain about is their lack of depth and talent behind AJ, Brown, Smith, and Dallas Goedert.

The rest of those pass catchers are not good. And it’s not like they haven’t spent resources at wide receiver to have at least decent back ups. I’m not asking for greatness or even good. Just guys who do something that’s not a negative play or give you help 2-3 times a game. We can’t even get that consistently. To be honest, all the back up tight ends, and the back up wide receivers, the only one I think would be on another roster contributing something meaningful would be OZ. The rest of them I think would be garbage elsewhere and I think the rest of them are probably out of the league in a year or two. 

Look at the amount of resources we’ve spent on WRs in just the draft (take aj trade out if it as he was already established) and we can’t have a competent no. 3 wr or decent backups… which brings me to my next point, what the F is Aaron moorehead getting paid for? He’s been here 4 years. The only wide receiver that is doing anything that was drafted and developed by us is Smith. Who might’ve been one of the most accomplished wide receivers coming out of college. And I think he would’ve been good anywhere. Literally, the wide receivers can’t block on screens. And when they do get a good block they get called for penalties. So you can’t even get guys blocking right and you haven’t developed a decent back up. God forbid AJ Brown or Smith get hurt, cause we’d be back to lawn chairs playing wr like in 2020
