There is no leak. There usually never is. They talk to some fan or staff who works concessions or parking then say "sources close to the situation."

Shanahan and his offense has come up small in the biggest moments (so far) but make no mistake, if he were running this offense instead of Johnson/Sirianni, this offense would be top 5 in the NFL with this talent.  And Hurts would absolutely be having a year equal to or better than Purdy.

Being able to execute a Shanahan offense at an extremely high level doesn't make you a "game manager." Stafford did the same in McVay's offense en route to a SB, is he just a game manager too? Purdy is also in his second year, and might even be able to improve further, so maybe he's just a good QB after all, and last year wasn't a fluke. 

It's ok guys, we can give credit to a player from another team when they play well. Nobody's gonna take away your fan card.

That's not really an insult.  Joe Montana was primarily a game manager.   Same with Brady.  Take what the defense gives you, over and over and over.   You don't go broke taking a profit.
