There were too many asterisks

Well covey weighs about 165 and Mccaffrey is over 200 so bit of a difference there...

mini. definitely shorter, lighter, worse jumper.

But the best attribute of McCaffrey is the agility,  the great 3 cone,  and Covey has numbers with the agility and speed that are about the same.

It seems to me that much of what McCaffrey does is outside runs quickly, often from pitches, often from Purdy under center and McCaffrey at tailback. The Eagles could have Covey doing that same stuff.

So it's obvious you want Sirianni fired.

If the Eagles are going to do what you say and go deep in the playoffs then some things with  scheme, play calling,  execution, etc will have to change.

Jalen is going to have to play better and cut down on the turnovers but is he going to design plays as well?

If they make a deep playoff run then the coaching will have to make changes as well and get some credit.

The way they are currently they aren't beating  Dallas and SF.  Everyone else.....maybe.

But Purdy just really sucked. If Purdy sucks, then the half built offense with good parts can beat 9ers with sucky Purdy.   And there could be sucky Dax.

And isn't the most likely outcome  Eagles at 2 or 3 and Lions at 2 or 3?  So, it's something like Eagles v Rams, Seahawks, Vikings, Packers at home,   vs Lions, home or road, v 9ers on the road or Cowboys at home?   Probably not playing both the Cowboys and 9ers.

I've been arguing to put more players in there on the offense besides the 5 they use pretty much all the time.   The players are there to use.

Davion Taylor is basically Tyreek Hill. They should put Taylor on offense to run go routes. Wherever the hell he is.

I love how rushing TDs don't count when evaluating QBs.

Not as a passer. Which is kinda their most important skill

He’s gonna need an extension within the next year as his contract is up after 2025. I don’t think it’s as crazy or out of the realm of possibility to think the eagles take a WR early if one falls that they love. Don’t think it’s likely but i wouldn’t say it’s 0 either

Great wr class

id rather give smitty the bag over AJ

Moose Muhammed III looks like a baller out there.

Perfect slot material in RD4-RD5

Only two concerns

1. aj is still going to be in his prime for another 3-4 years after this current contract. Giving up a top 5 wr feels like it could backfire like what happened to the titans

2. I don’t trust the eagles to get the WR right. Their drafting and developing at wr has been bad outside of devonta

It’s really the time traveling official that makes me think it’s legit

Do a Brady thing with Hurts that gives money to Brown and Smith.

Fair points. But smitty will be younger. Better use of cap to keep him plus he is more mature/professional. Losing AJ could make hurts butthurt but his influence needs to be dialed back

Could work if you draft a good te and move on from goedert.

but whats the marginal return on a second wr1? Wouldnt the money be better spent on OL?

When it comes to MVP discussion you have to adjust for draft position.  That’s why Brady won it so many times.

my logic is bullet proof.

You must have an engineering degree from Drexel with that level of advanced logic prowess

Can't wait for the "We have faith in our LBs. VanS stepped up. Dean is back. Bradley is back. We feel good about the guys in that room" when we inevitably don't touch LB once again.
