Only because the average human doesn't bother with the details, they just see win or loss. When, like you said, a whole 24 players sit for various reasons, the outcome was more or less predetermined once they were snubbed.

So yeah, that pretty much will always lead to embarrassments like this one.

Bowl games outside of the playoffs are now officially dead. 

Bowl games serve as a good preview for next year such as Miller Moss at USC.

Other than that, they are useless.

Yea says a lot about the character of the team in my eyes. They weren't snubbed, by the letter of the Fing law it says that major injuries to key players are taken into account. Without their QB they were not going to be competitive. 

It's hilarious they didn't get in and it's hilarious they're getting stomped. This was always the outcome regardless unless their QB miraculously recovered
