Don't we already have that guy?   Can this guy tackle?

Yes this guy tackles. But brown wasn't really known as a bad tackler in college either so I guess you never know what skill athletes with magically lose when they arrive in Philly.

Also,  Brown isn't a CB. This guy can be either or both.

There is no legitimate argument for not rooting for the Lions loss tonight.

Eagles may crap the bed again and they could lose the division so yeah there is. I'm rooting for a Lions loss but it's not that cut and dry.

Eagles winning their next two games also guarantees the Cowboys will be on the road for the entire playoffs.  If you apparently have so little confidence in the Eagles ability to beat the Cardinals and Giants then what the hell does the division even matter to you?  A lot of haters out there just want their narrative to win out and thus don't want the Eagles to be set up with the best possible outcome for the playoff seeding.  Lot of people here would actually be upset if the Eagles end up with the #2 or even #1 seed at this point.

I have little confidence in the eagles doing that or getting past the wc round. I think they are that bad.

F Dallas

There was discussion about him as a slot, iirc.

Great patience by Montgomery.

Who’s the better winner here.

CBoys or Loins?

If CBoy win and SF lose we can get 1st seed again.

If CBoy lose easy to lock division first thing back to back in a while

Just realized, 28 years ago tonight, the Eagles trounced the Lions 58-37 (and it wasn't even THAT close), in the playoffs. The Lomas Brown guarantee game.

I can still remember the crowd at the Vet chanting "LOOOMMMAAAASSS" over and over.

It's insane to me that 28 years have gone by since then. I remember it like it was yesterday. I watched the game with a buddy who was a Lions fan. By the end of the game, he was passed out drunk lol.

That last set of downs looked just like us lol

I know it’s better for us if Dallas wins but I just can’t root for them. I’m trying…

I say just enjoy the football because either one winning is good for us in one way or another.

Wonder what a tie does.

Let’s go Lions! Can never root for Dallas. Let’s wrap up the division. Don’t care where the eagles place in the playoffs it won’t make a difference

Prefer to clinch the division quicker is a perfectly legit argument.

A tie is the best case scenario. Puts us back at #2 and clinches the division if we win tomorrow.

Oh look, it's our secondary.

Exactly, which is why you are rooting for the Lions to win.  You don't want the Eagles to get the #2 or #1 seed.  You want to be proven right in your negative narrative so you can spend a whole off season with open season of hate on Hurts.  Otherwise why would you even care about the Eagles winning the division if you don't think they are getting past the wild card round?

I think the Eagles are going to go on a run.  Maddox coming back is going to be big for the defense.  If they get the #2 seed then I think at a minimum they are going to go to the NFC Championship Game.  If they have to go on the road to Detroit in the second round though then I don't see it likely them winning in that loud dome with the atmosphere that Detroit would have for that game.

Hahaha! Eat a D, Dak!

INT!

There's Dak

That offers no greater benefit though. Eagles have two games left against two of the worst teams in the league.  All they need to do to win the division is win those games.  Being able to have at least the #2 seed over the #3 seed on the other hand offers immense greater benefits for the Eagles.

Ha ha. Dak sucks
