How does Shakir have 0 carries for 10 yards?

Let's go, onside kick please

Imagine if Washington beat  SF

Rashad Penny should be used a bunch this half.

Was the Williams fumble a sack?

@Iggles_Phan and @bpac55 and anyone else who has soured on what we see. This is from The Dead of Winter, a very fine detective novel by Stephen Mack Jones. I haven't gone quite this far but...

I've given up on football.

Not just the Lions (who perpetually break my heart) but the NFL in general: Millionaire babies taking the field to shuck, jive and juke for elderly billionaire plantation masters. The players who do take a stand by kneeling are vilified, nullified and ostracized. And fans continue to subsidize the cirque du soulless in some publicly funded, corporate-owned stadium with the audacity to charge ten dollars for a cup of warm beer, eight dollars for cold hot dogs and ninety dollars for jerseys bearing terminally concussed gridiron legends' names and numbers.

Dear God.

Never mind the fact that the rules of a once-simple sport have become so complicated that it takes a team of Harvard Law professors to unravel them during a two-minute time-out or a video penalty challenge.

Football's not a game anymore.

It's two-hours of Wall Street traders, stock analysts, happy-ending-massage-parlor escapades, drug addicts and wife-beaters bashing helmets.

It's Spartacus without the honor or drama.

Pretty much.   I'm not quite that cynical, but yeah.  And NCAA is right behind.   It almost makes me want to watch NCAA D-II and D-III and High School exclusively.  Maybe one day it finally will.

Incidentally, I did get my bonus prediction correct for today's game.

The last few weeks, I've been unable to see the scores on NFL.com.  The game times show up but scores are always blank, even if I go to the scores page.

Just use Google? NFL.com is probably the worst resource for anything NFL lol

Yahoo doesn’t have it as a sack. Feels like it should’ve been

Panthers had DJ Moore and CMC traded em to get Tim Couch part 2

🤣🤣🤣

Remember when we thought this team was good at stopping the run.

They has a run D called and then get mowed for 5 yards on 2nd down

Looked like a designed run for the QB, but he was tackled behind the LOS... so it could be a sack or just a TFL.  Depends on if they considered him a runner or a QB on a bootleg.

Reddick just got handled by a TE

I want to say part of this is not having Cunningham consistently since the bye. But even when he was out there they weren’t good since the bye.

Jesus Christ lol

Is Ringo injured? I’m setting #24 but not #22

Seems like our halftime adjustments are making all the difference

Eli Ricks, yeesh

Well that was embarrassing

No he’s out there. Probably rotating with Ricks right now

Ricks should retire after that

As a tribute to Jonathan Gannon the defense isn’t going to force a punt all game.

They just suck at coverage. Man, zone, doesn’t matter

Carter stripped Ricks of all his dignity. Now and forever.
